• Including educational design & engagement, e-learning, digital skills training, the University website, multimedia and classroom technology teams, Wikimedian in Residence, open education and MOOCs.
• Open Scotland.
Open Scotland is a cross sector initiative that aims to raise awareness of open education, encourage the sharing of open educational resources, and explore the potential of open policy and practice to benefit all sectors of Scottish education.

FE Sector • FE sector is bedding down after upheaval of regionalisation.
• Merging institutional systems & creating infrastructure to share is a priority.

• More interest in walled garden approach to sharing, e.g. Blended Learning Consortium ld by Heart of Worcestershire College. cf COLEG initiative.
• Sector is accepting of open educational practice and OER in theory, but cautious in actual practice.
Jisc• Announced retirement
of Jorum in 2015.• Service will close on 30th
September 2016. • Jorum customers can

migrated to the new Jisc Content and App Store. • …
ALT Scotland SIG• Supports Open Scotland.• Liaises with OEPS.• Brings together policy makers.• Raises awareness of open education at Scot Gov
level.• Hosts annual events to showcase use of education
technology and open education across sector.
National Library of Scotland
• Continue to review open licensing policy with a view to making more content openly available.
• CC-BY on images up to 1000px, core metadata & OCR (unless library doesn’t own copyright).
• CC-0 for metadata supplied to Europeana
• CC-BY-NC-SA on images > 1000px, extended metadata (such as long form descriptions) & manual transcription.
• Planning to load more images on to WikiCommons.
