General Information

Wedding Coordinator A Pre-approved “Day of Wedding Coordinator” is required for all rehearsals, ceremonies and

receptions. Should you select a Coordinator that is not on the Embassy Suites Preferred Vendor

List, the Coordinator must provide a copy of their business license. The Coordinator will be the

primary contact on the wedding day. Coordinator duties will include setting party favors, place

cards and/or escort cards, ceremony décor, ceremony details (music, line up of bridal party, etc.),

communicating with vendors and ensuring event follows timeline outlined on the Banquet Event

Order.

Guarantee Your final guest count is due (3) days prior to your event. For your convenience, we will prepare

food for 5% over the final guaranteed number of guests. This guarantee is not subject to reduction

after the (3) day deadline.

Food Service Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Hotel & Resort is responsible for the quality and freshness of the

food served to our guests. Consequently, we do not allow food from outside caterers. Due to

current health regulations, food may not be taken off the premises after it has been prepared and

served.

Service Charge and Sales Tax Prices do not include Service Charge or State Sales Tax. California Law stipulates that the service

charge is taxable. All prices are subject to change without notification.

Event Parking Self parking is available at $6 and valet parking is available at $8. This is a flat rate so guests

attending your event will not pay per hour. Please let your Catering Manager know if you would

like to host your guest’s parking.

Deposits An initial $1,000 non-refundable deposit, along with a signed Wedding Agreement is required to

reserve your wedding date. A second deposit of 50% of the minimum guaranteed attendance is due

(90) days prior to your scheduled event. The final balance is due (10) days prior to your event. All

deposits will be applied to your final balance.
