?“Play does not just come
from the game itself, but
from the way that players
interact with the game in
order to play.”(Salen and Zimmerman, 2003)

“One way of framing what players do
when they play a game is to say that they
are making choices.”(Salen, K and Zimmerman, E. 2004)
A game is a structural form of play
including a list of rules that people should
play and abide by. It is mostly used for
enjoyment, but also as a educational tool.
“Playing a game is the new voluntary
effort to over come unnecessary
obstacles.” (Suits, B. 1990, p41)We want to use the idea of creative
learning via play, on all levels from
primary to postgraduate.

‘The Fun Theory’ – Volkswagen‘This site is dedicated to the
thought that something as simple
as fun is the easiest way to
change people’s behavior for the
better. Be it for yourself, for the
environment, or for something
entirely different, the only thing
that matters is that it’s change for
the better.”(Thefuntheory.com, 2011)
