Indigenous Heritage and Relationships

“Respecting the Traditional Owners of Our Land”

Interquip works closely with their clients to ensure all projects are exercised with a duty of care.

We do this by practicing and implementing environmental care in all works carried out to ensure continuous Indigenous Archaeological and Heritage protection.

Interquip also works closely with a well-recognised indigenous recruitment company that provides growth opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through engagement with the mining and infrastructure sector. This is a good fit with Interquip in regards to external labour hire requirements.

Labour hire requirements will continue to grow and develop in the future as Interquip moves ahead with its expansion plans.

Interquip’s Charity Work

“Koh Kong Primary School Project, Cambodia”

Interquip recognises the need to help where we can in countries less fortunate than Australia.

When briefed about the Koh Kong Project for the Chi Tres Village in the Botum Sakor District, Interquip immediately agreed to lend a financial hand.

The village’s old current primary school was a small decrepit building made of rotten bamboo and thatch. Interquip provided funding towards the construction of a new six room premises.

The new primary school caters for up to 480 students from three surrounding villages. Each room houses students from Grade 1-6.
