Internship Investment Banking – Corporate Finance / Leveraged Finance

About us

Our teams within Leveraged Finance focus on the origination, structuring and execution of financial sponsor-led transactions (Private Equity). The department is based in Frankfurt and comprises more than 30 professionals, including the agency and portfolio team.

Under the supervision of the transaction team leader and other team members, key tasks will include without limitation:

• In general, support the teams in all stages of a leveraged buy-out, from early days to closing

• Performing market research and analysis of target companies and industries

• Cash flow based financial modelling

• Contributing to credit applications

• Review of due dilligence reports

• Assisting in originating LBO transactions, including preparation of pitching materials

• Monitoring of portfolio transactions

• Specific projects to support ongoing group activities or strategies

Your Profile

• Studies at a university with focus on finance, banking, controlling and/or audit

• First experiences in financial modelling recommended but no prerequisite and good knowledge of MS Office (esp. Excel)

• High command of German and English

• Teamworking skills, flexibility, and able to deliver on tight deadlines
