To fulfill the vision of Enjoy Church it is necessary to raise large (in capacity), strategic Christian leaders full of life and hope. This is one of the key driving factors behind our Internship Program. The Enjoy Church Internship is a volunteer training program for anyone who calls Enjoy ‘home’ and desires to grow in his or her faith, leadership and church ministry experience. The main focus of this training program is to develop, mentor and train people into their personal, ministry and leadership potential. Internships are available and offered for a 12 month duration.

APPLICATION PROCESSSubmit your application form to The HUB, online or via email. Fill out application completely. Please take the time to read and complete all questions and denoted fields.

Give your Pastoral Recommendation Forms to your TWO chosen Pastors/Leaders to complete so they can return it DIRECTLY to [email protected].

Once all materials have been received and reviewed by the Enjoy staff, we will contact you to arrange a personal interview.

Once your interview outcome has been determined, we will contact you with further information and instructions.

INTERNSHIP 2020 INFORMATION

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Internship is a role at Enjoy Church which carries a weight of expectation and commitment. Some of these expectations are outlined below:

Serve alongside their department leader in a specific ministry area to develop understanding for ministry; Release their department leader in practical areas through being a personal help; Attend Intern Personal Development Sessions each week; Attend 80% or more of Personal Development sessions; Attend all weekend events and functions that their leader would be at, to serve and gain a much greater understanding of kingdom life; Commit to volunteer one day per week at one of our locations plus on a Sunday in their allocated team; Serve at all of our annual conferences; and in addition to the above, be prepared to be available outside of these ordinary hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful applicants for the Enjoy Church Internship Program would need to display the following qualities and personal attributes: Enjoy Church’s ABC’s established servant heart willingness to grow teachable attitude punctuality reliability honesty integrity responsibility committed to Enjoy Church basic competence in the required department loyalty to Jesus Christ, the Church and the assigned department leader perseverance regular personal devotional life “can do” attitude enthusiasm and enjoyment for the work of the Lord

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS

Your application, references, an interview, availability of places and the prayerful decision of our

leadership team will determine acceptance into the Enjoy Church Internship. Applicants must have a willingness to comply with all the requirements of the Internship.

EDUCATION

Applicants shall have successfully completed Year 10 (or equivalent) OR provide a statement of

purpose.

AGEApplicants shall be a minimum age of 18 years old.

ENGLISH

Applicants for whom English is not their first language shall be required to provide proof of written and

verbal fluency.
