There are 4 different options for Internet Ticketing.● Using a link from your site to an RTN Page
○ Available in a variety of options● Using Showtimes XML to pull your schedule
○ Available in a variety of options● Using Open Interface API● Movietickets.com and Fandango
Options for displaying your ticketing page
Using your given link there are 3 ways you can choose to display your ticketing page. ● In the same window - directed to RTN Page● In a new window/tab - directed to RTN Page● Within your navigation in a framed area
Using RTN Page - Window/Tabbed
Link to RTN Page can open in ● Same window● New tab● New window
Using RTN Page - Framed
Showtime Page Tickets Page Check Out Page
The RTN Ticketing Page is still used, it is just shown embedded within your navigation.
● Framed area will NOT show a secure lock in the browser when choosing this option.
● Options available in RTS to have a secure checkout, page appear in a new secure browser.
“Open New Browser” needs to be set to
“True”
Using Showtime XML
Showtimes are displayed on your site
Ticket pick and purchase then handled by RTN Page
Using Open Interface API
Showtime Page Tickets Page Check Out Page
This is an option that is built by your web developer, not RTS. We simply supply documentation to retrieve your showtimes, purchasing, loyalty, gift cards, etc.
How do I get the link?The link to take you to your ticketing page is your theatre id number followed by formovietickets.com:2235 as shown below.
TheatreID.formovietickets.com:2235
Locate your Theatre IDTo locate your ID and to create a link to your tickets/showtimes page, your Theatre ID can be located in RTS by navigating to “Help” -> “About”
What should your link look like?
TheatreID.formovietickets.com:2235
When your link is selected it will direct you to a page with your
showtimes and pricing. Patrons then select their desired time and number
of tickets and check out using a secure payment method.
ImplementationThis option allows you to sell tickets online using our layout.● Using the link provided (TheatreID.formovietickets.com:2235) will give your
developer all the information they need in order to create a link to your RTN page.
What about the style?Your web designer creates a HTML Style Sheet, and sends it to RTS Technical Support. Support will then add it to your RTN Page and your newly styled page will be available for your patrons to purchase tickets.
Open Interface-APIThis option allows you to create any style, layout, & function that you desire. ● Using the link provided will give your developer all the information they
need in order to implement the content.● Using our API allows you to have your own website pull the schedule built
within RTS.
