LSE Summer School offers an opportunity for ISME students to gain from its leading teachers & researchers. The summer school course will give an insight into cutting-edge thinking in all disciplines and will help students to reflect on the big issues of the day. Based on regular undergraduate courses taught at LSE, the summer school program reproduces the full “LSE Experience”. By the end of the course, students would develop a deep analytical understanding of current academic thinking on challenging concepts and theories.

ISME students opting for LSE Summer school courses would be studying at London School of Economics during the month of July between the first and second year of the PGDM program. Students will be awarded a certificate and academic transcripts by LSE for the course.

Hostel

All students are provided with comfortable hostels in the vicinity of ISME Campus. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. All required facilities with round the clock security have been provided. The entire hostel is Wi-Fi enabled to provide an uninterrupted learning environment outside the class. Homely food is provided which includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.

ISME’s Career Opportunity Center (COC) helps place first year students as summer interns for 8 to 10 weeks with various corporate and industries. This will help students get their first hands-on industry experience and enable them to decide on the specialization.

Mentoring and Counselling

The Management Consulting Center specializes in high end management consulting and training. It is a two decade old organization and has provided consulting services to companies like TCS, Satyam, General Motors, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, ITI, Lemuir Group, BPL, MICO and many other organizations.

ISME is an institutional member of Bangalore Management Association, NHRD (National HRD Network), BCIC (Bangalore Chamber of Industries and Commerce), NEN (National Entrepreneurship Network) and CII. ISME interacts and works with other members to find suitable opportunities for the students.

Admission Dates

ISME employs rolling admission process – meaning all completed applications are reviewed in chronological order according to the dates they are submitted. For Admission Deadline visit our website: www.isme.in

Admission to the program at ISME is highly competitive.The Admission Office reviews applications on an individual basis looking at both quantitative and qualitative aspects of an applicant’s professional and academic background. The committee seeks to assess an individual’s potential for academic success and future professional growth.

Eligibility

- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree from any recognized educational institution in Commerce, Management, Arts, Science, Engineering, Technology or equivalent with minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

- Good performance in one of the Management Aptitude Tests.

- Work experience would be an important consideration for admission.

Selection Process Stage 1: Complete Application Information

Every applicant seeking admission to ISME needs to complete the Application Form, attach the required documents and submit the entire application to ISME’s Admission Office.

Stage 2: Interviews

Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview with a panel of experts from ISME.

Stage 3: Admission Decision

Based on the review of the application and the recommendation of the interview panel, the admission committee invites selected students for admission to the program.

Admitted candidates are sent the Admission Offer letter. The admission would be final only after the receipt of confirmation of Admission Acceptance from the candidate and the payment of the security deposit. Fees once paid is not refundable.

Bank Loans

ISME is committed to assisting students in finding the necessary financial resources for their education and will assist in providing the necessary information for obtaining a bank loan. ISME has institutional approval from banks like Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Punjab National Bank and Credila. Students in the past have received loans from State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Canara Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India and many other nationalized banks.
