Why Policy Committee on ITS?

• Working group with specific policy focus

• Role of ITS in reaching policy objectives: proven but not (necessarily) acknowledged

mitigate congestion, accidents, and environmental impacts in road traffic

• To raise awareness about ITS with politicians and high level policy makers
