International school partnerships for globally networked schools International mobility outside Europe Movetia Exchange and mobility movetia.ch International partnerships allow Swiss schools to organise class exchanges for their students and to bring experiences from all over the world into the classroom. The participating students from both countries work on a project together and also meet in person. Which projects are funded? Partner schools work together for a whole academic year on a jointly selected project. Students communicate via online platforms and social media. The students also meet in Switzerland and in the country of the partner school. Individual long- term stays at the partner school can also be funded as part of such a partnership. What if I have another idea? As part of its open project fund, Movetia funds innovative partnerships and new ideas for mobility. Project owners are free to design projects as they wish. Anything is possible – there are no defined activities or fixed amounts of funding. Find out more at movetia.ch/en/carteblanche. What else do I need to know? All Swiss schools are eligible to participate. Movetia covers a maximum of 60 per cent of the project costs. The application deadline is 15 May 2018.
