From the beginning, convening international

Congresses has been a major activity of IFHE.

They provide an international Home Economics

forum whereby participants share knowledge and

experiences, discuss issues of common concern,

and explore the many challenges facing the

Home Economics profession.

World Congresses provide an opportunity

for participants to develop and extend their

professional networks and partners with those

from other countries, with many of these

relationships resulting in life-long friendships.
