thThe National Institute of Occupational Health (NIOH) is pleased to host the 26
Annual Meeting of the Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility
(ISSRF) and the International Conference on Reproductive Health with Emphasis on
Occupational, Environmental & Lifestyle Factors, during February18- 20, 2016 in
Ahmedabad.
The NIOH is the premier institute, under the aegis of the Indian Council of Medical
Research (ICMR) under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and
Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The Institute functions as a WHO Collaborative and
Reference Centre for Occupational Health. The Institute has represented in many
important functions of the Govt. of India, including the Ministry of Health and Family
Welfare, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Ministry of
Agriculture, Ministry of Power etc., to generate data and provide guidance and
recommendations on issues related to occupational and environmental health.
The Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility (ISSRF) was formed
and registered in Mumbai in 1988 to create a scientific forum where all the
researchers interested in a similar cause of promoting reproductive health could
come together and share their research experiences. The main objectives of the
Society are to provide a forum for the discussion of scientific, clinical and veterinary
knowledge on all aspects of reproduction; facilitate exchange of knowledge and
ideas in the area of reproduction through seminars, workshops, conferences and
meetings; and promote the growth of the discipline of reproductive biology and
reproductive medical care.
The goal of this meeting is to highlight recent scientific discoveries and innovations
and their impacts on reproductive health. Since the recent changes in environment thand lifestyle factors have deep impact on the reproductive health, this 26 Annual
meeting of the ISSRF along with International Conference on Reproductive Health
with Emphasis on Occupational, Environmental & Lifestyle Factors is being
organized to discuss these issues.

Nominations or self applications, as per the format available on the Society website
(www.issrf.org), are invited for various awards instituted by the Society. The recipients will
be honoured during the ISSRF-2016 annual meeting (February, 18-20, 2016) of the Society
in Ahmedabad.
Ph. D. Scholars/ young scientists who are life members of the Society and are not drawing
any stipend, should request ISSRF Secretariate for travel support and exemption of
registration after their abstract being accepted for the poster or oral presentation.
Accommodation can be arranged in various categories of hotels of international standards
and other guest houses to suit budgetary requirements of the participants. Assistance for
booking accommodation will be provided on request.
All foreign delegates are requested to check with their local Indian Embassy or Consulate.
Ahmedabad is usually pleasant in February. The average temperature is around 25 - 30 C.0

The Scientific Program Committee will identify speakers for plenary and symposia
sessions. Researchers are encouraged to submit their abstracts for oral and poster
presentations. The size of the poster will be about 3'(W) x 4'(H). LCD projectors will be
made available at the venue.
Authors are requested to submit an abstract (300 words) to the most appropriate
thematic area by email ( ). Abstract must include a description of
the topic, methods and salient findings. The abstract should be typed using Microsoft
Word (12 pt Times New Roman). Please provide the full names, affiliations and e-mail
addresses of all authors and underline the name of presenting author. Author may
submit only one abstract as presenter (but there is no limit to the number of abstracts for
co-authors).
