Dear Colleagues,

The automotive engineering is undergoing an unprecedented transformation conditioned by the commitment of the world's population to rapidly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the impact of vehicle construction on the environment.

To meet these current challenges of sustainable and ecological development and the growing demand for mobility of individuals and goods, the automotive industry must constantly innovate and evolve its structures. It is therefore fundamental to rebuild the foundations of the automotive industry to continue to enjoy the comfort that such mobility offers us.

In this context, the 34th SIA POWERTRAIN & ENERGY // Rouen 2022 conference will support the automotive community in providing an overall picture of state-of-the-art technologies and by anticipating future development challenges.

This congress is recognized by the automotive stakeholders as an exceptional and unique technical event showing continuous growth in the number of participants and exhibitors.

The next conference will address the full spectrum of thermal, electric, hybrid and hydrogen drivetrain solutions paving the way of mobility decarbonization with a specific focus on long range passenger cars, commercial vehicles and related energy frameworks.

Finally, on behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to invite all the powertrain engineering and scientific communities to submit abstracts on any of the related conference topics by the 19th of November 2021.

We look forward to welcoming you in Rouen on June 2022.

CALL FOR DEMO CARS // FREE OF CHARGEThe Organizing Committee is soliciting companies for demonstration vehicles that will showcase technologies related to the conference topics.

Test-Drive Cars will be displayed inside the Parc des Exposition’s facilities on a private track - prototypes are also welcome as no licence plates are mandatory (day & night security).

For our exhibitors only: Demo-Car could also be showcased inside the exhibition hall (motors, demo-cars without fuels, etc.).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION & DEADLINESSpeakers will be allocated 25 minutes each (20 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions).All necessary instructions for the preparation of the paper will be sent to the authors after selection.The lead author (one per paper) will benefit a free access to the conference and meals, 2 co-authors max will benefit from a discount.

> Conference language: ENGLISH> Proposals for papers must reach us by 19 november 2021.> The successful papers will be selected by the Committees and authors will be notified accordingly by January 2022.> Successful authors commit themselves to produce a Full Paper (6-8 pages) by 6 May 2022 for inclusion in the conference

proceedings. Final PPT presentations must be sent to the SIA by 1June 2022.
