The Trans-Caspian International Transport Route starts from Southeast Asia and China, runs through
Kazakhstan, the Caspian sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia and then to Turkey, Ukraine and other European
countries.
GEOGRAPHY
Eurasia containing both Europe and Asia is rapidly being drawn into a one massive market covering
upwards of 65% of the population, 75% of energy resources, and 40% of GDP in the world, and it is
restructuring rail routes that are the strings tying it all together.

founded on April 12, 2016.
HISTORY

established on February 20,
2014

TITR was founded with
headquarters in Astana,
Kazakhstan on February,
2017.
In December 2016 on the base of Coordination Committee for the development of the Trans-Caspian
International Transport Route, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia by the decision of its participants
came to an agreement to establish the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route Association with
its head-office in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Since February 2017 International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route" (TITR)
has embarked on work.

Who is TITR
TITR is consolidating organization, which
represents today an interests of number of
countries and companies on the new Silk
Way, starting its functioning like in the days
of the ancient Silk Road.
TITR is aimed to coordinate interaction of
all the participants of transportation of
goods and containers along the route from
Asia to Europe and in the reversed
direction, including needed informational
support.
TITR is recognized as an authoritative
partner, which contributes simplification of
administrative procedures, helps to create
competitive environment and assist
making best efficiency for the companions
from business societies of different
countries not only along the Trans-Caspian
route.
Objects of the Association:• attracting transit and foreign trade cargo to the
TITR;
• development of integrated logistics products along
the TITR;
• operating an effective tariff policy, optimization of
costs and reduction of price of an integrated
service;
• development of an integrated solution (technology)
for the transportation process across TITR;
• promotion of competitiveness of TITR in comparison
with alternative routes;
• facilitation lowering of administrative barriers
related to the border and customs procedures and
related to the shipment processing of goods and
containers in the ports and points of junction
between railway systems.
