The 7 C communication model

The model of the "7 C's of effective communication,“ act as guiding elements of the

strategy, focusing communication on the mission and the vision of the organization, they aim to change the attitudes of the membership

and improve the organizational culture.

Page 16: Internal Communication HandBook

7 C's of effective communication Credibility: To achieve this, it is necessary to involve the people in the process, achieve a comprehensive participation membership in the communications channels. Context: the message needs to suit the realities, there must be an open dialogue, its about what the public expects of us, not about persuade them. Content: The message must be aligned to our mission (the AIESEC way) and the vision (OUR 2015 BHAG), must express our AIESEC values , based on a willingness to learn, to share knowledge and to use creative and innovative work. Clarity: Stay focus and make things simple, the messages must be in plain language, clear and precise.

Page 17: Internal Communication HandBook

Continuity and consistency: It should be consistency between what is said and done, is not enough to study the frequency with which the message is repeated but the quality of the message. Channels: It is important to keep channels clear with internal staff, there must be a permanent Brand manifestations in meetings, assemblies, mails, social media channels, etc. so communications create the organizational culture and improve the working climate. Capacity: communication is a essential part of the human behavior, so when communicate anything think in the people the message must reach, not in the message itself.
