Milano ProjectA huge thank you and congratulations to all of the team members involved in the Milano software creation and constant updating.

When news broke of the high profile Hacking Team Breach, Rook Security mobilized its Rapid Response Team to develop new technology to quickly conduct analysis of the exceptionally large, 400 GB, data sets.

Results

■ First to create use cases that could be leveraged by organizations to update their detection capabilities.

■ First to identify key elements of the HTB files that were useful to federal law enforcement.

■ Over 30 media placements including CNBC, ZDNet and Computerworld

■ All-time high for Rook's website traffic with a one day record of 14,281 views and a July total of 85,790 views

■ Priceless branding and industry recognition

Kudos and thanks to Mat Gangwer and Dan Ford along with PM Jay Acton for jumping into the "breach" when a referral from Alert Logic for a client that was experiencing an incident came in at 11:45 Friday (7/17) morning. They were on the case by 3:00 and worked through the weekend to resolve the issue. They made our business partner look great and potentially won us future business form the client.-Mike Childs
