INTERMEDIATE INTERIOR DESIGNER - SAN ANTONIO Lake|Flato Architects seeks a forward-thinking, energetic Interior Designer to join our award-winning, sustainable design practice in our office in San Antonio, Texas. Ideal candidates will exhibit a commitment to excellence in architectural interiors along with demonstrated experience in architectural interiors project work-flow. Successful candidates should have 3-6 years of experience working collaboratively with creative teams and share our focus on vibrant, sustainable architecture. Job Description: The Intermediate Interior Designer’s focus will be on the development and documentation of architectural interiors packages through collaboration with the project team. Responsibilities will include interiors documentation (plans, elevations, and details), finishes, furniture selection and specifications, and construction administration. Current project types includes Higher Education, Boutique hospitality, and corporate interiors within Lake|Flato architectural projects. Position Responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams in the selection, coordination, and documentation of interior architectural elements and finishes. Lead in the production of architectural interiors documents on a variety of project types. Assist project teams in sourcing, sampling and budgeting FF&E designs. Implement the sourcing of FF&E designs with vendors and manufacturers. Interior Designers are expected to contribute to the interior environment of a project with knowledge and skills about space planning; interior building materials and finishes; casework, furniture, furnishings and equipment; lighting; acoustics; way-finding; ergonomics and anthropometrics; and human environmental behavior.
