SOCIAL INTERACTION

OFFICE PROJECT This project as a whole was designed to create, arrange and design a small town of office pods for new, start-up companies to rent at an affordable price within a unique building and location.

The overall achievement of this project consisted of creating an area for new businesses to work within the industrial unit to encourage interaction and communication between the companies within the large open space. Within this project, three unique office pods have been designed to accommodate three alternative sized companies. The interior and exterior of these pods are all distinctive to one another, producing a diverse area.

2 PERSON POD

The design of this pod has been especially composed to carry a small start-up business for two people. This pod has been appointed two working stations, with extra seating for additional purposes. Due to the pod being on the small size, the colours that have been chosen to compliment and establish the size of the pod. The cool blues create a calming atmosphere with hints of colours to create a sense of energy and productivity.

4 PERSON POD

The composition of this pod has been designed to accommodate a business of up to four people. Within this pod, two allocated areas have been de-signed, one for work and the other for social interac-tion. This pod has been formed to enhance work activity and reduce the level of stress and tension in hope of creating a calming environment.

8 PERSON POD

This particular pod has been designed to allocate a small business of eight people. This pod includes the use of a social area placed by the entrance and a small secluded meeting area which is beneficial for any growing and enthusiastic company. The finished pod has been designed to inspire and enhance creativity with the use of vibrant colours and a unique LED floor.
