This role will focus on project strategy and will be responsible for monitoring all design and project management aspects, including scope of services, schedule, and budget, to deliver the highest quality of work to meet our clients’ needs. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently. Represent the firm on a professional level in client and vendor meetings. Lead the design process from inception through completion. Provide assistance in programming and pre-planning design analysis and preparation of detailed project budgets. Engage in a creative approach to the use of colors and materials; manage design presentations including sketches and material boards. Oversee the selection of furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Oversee completion of working drawings, including construction details, millwork details, and specifications. Help promote a collaborative workplace, provide direction to interior and other design staff, coordinate projects, and oversee department. Participate in project management of bidding and award process, project close-out, and the LEED ® process. QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate shall have attained or be working towards: Minimum 7-10 years of design experience with an architectural or interior design firm. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related degree with a strong concentration in design. Registered and active member of ASID. Proficient in REVIT and Adobe Creative Suite. Proven experience managing and supervising a team. Strong educational, municipal, and corporate interior project experience, encompassing all phases of design services. Commitment and passion for design with the ability to connect concept through details of project completion.
