A.A. IN CORE CURRICULUM

As you understand multiple areas of interest, you can move forward with determining two areas that can be interconnected in the Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies.

• The first two years focus on core curriculum and exploring possible area of focus in upper-level classes.

• The third year involves starting two areas of focus and interdisciplinary fundamentals that help you understand how different areas interconnect. This is followed by the senior year completing these focal areas.

• For the electives, you are strongly encouraged to declare a minor or certificate separate from the area of concentration to develop critical thinking in multiple areas.

• You may select concentrations in International Studies or Gender Studies.

Middle Georgia State also offers an Associate of Arts in Core Curriculum, which provides an opportunity for you to explore different fields of study.
