Coinciding with the boy’s festival, we offer a great opportunity

where everyone can try on samurai armor.

Both adults and children can take pictures in front of an old Japanese

style house, wearing the armor. Good memory for everyone!

Western Archery Class ~Recruiting participants~

Archery is the sport of shooting with a bow and arrow at a target tens of meters away.

The sport originally comes from Great Britain but is now enjoyed all over the world and is also an official

Olympic sport. People who try archery love the exhilarating feeling of shooting outdoors and the feeling of

satisfaction when the arrow hits the bulls-eye!

Time: Will be held for 4 days in June. Dates will be announced in the May 12 edition of Koho Itabashi.

Place: Archery Range(2-21 Higashi Sakashita)

*10 min walk from Hasune station, Toei subway Mita line or 3 min walk from

“Sangenya” bus stop, Kokusai Kogyo bus Ike-21 route

Wakyu is the ancient Japanese martial art of using a bow and arrow to shoot at a target tens of meters

away. Simple and approachable, it is ideal for people of any age, gender or level of experience.

Train your body and mind by becoming one with the bow and the target.

The Manapoto Ohara festival is a festival for people of all ages to gather and learn about the

accomplishments of individual groups. The festival will feature activities such as ceramics and

photography exhibitions as well as interactive dance and guitar classes.

Itabashi City distributes a free booklet introducing all the projects and events being carried out by the City

until September. The booklet can also be viewed on the City’s homepage.

It features information on a variety of projects and events, from seminars on computer skills to useful life

skills such as cultivating flowers, and recreational events such as musical concerts, as well as projects and

events aimed at children.
