Dehydrated skin is a great contributor to a dull and aging skin appearance. As the skin becomes dehydrated the loss of elasticity occurs resulting in increased wrinkle forma-tion. The maintaining of skin moisture is vital to preventing premature skin aging along with sustaining an overall healthy look.

Dehydrated and dry skin conditions can result from both extrinsic and intrinsic factors. Extrinsic factors include exposure to outside elements such as cold weather and pro-longed periods in the sun. These environmental aggressions damage skin by disrupting hydration flow to the stratum corneum (outer layer of the skin). Intrinsic factors include the normal processes of physical change over time, also known as aging. As we age our skin becomes thinner losing its ability to hold sufficient water contents needed to replenish moisture and sustain hydration.

The Intense HydratIon serIes is a set of formulations designed to restore and enhance skin hydration. The hydrating formulas include watery aesthetics and fresh skin feels to reenergize sensorial properties to the skin. Additional functional materials were included to lock in moisture and quench skin thirst.
