Pros

• Intellitools can be used on both a Mac or PC• They have a 30 day trial you can try• Benefits teachers because they can create

activities or quizzes around their specific curriculum

• Benefits students because it is a more engaging way for your students to interact with the curriculum

• Students can interact with these activities during free time

Cons

• Expensive: The newest version costs about $345.00 on the Intellitools website.

• Intellitools does not take the place of teaching curriculum, you must still explicitly teach the curriculum. Intellitools enhances and reinforces curriculum.

• Intellitools, because it has so many options, can be difficult to navigate through at first. Many tutorials are available though.

Beneficial for all students• Intellitools is very beneficial for special needs

students, ELLs, and for students at various reading levels because…

- Differentiated instruction- Special features: reads directions and words

aloud, has pictures and text, self pace, etc.
