Intelligent Dashboard
Overview
Intelligent Dashboard is a software utility that pulls together data from multiple sources and displays it
in a single user interface making it easy for the operator to monitor and manage. Intelligent Dashboard
provides a unified graphical platform for the operators to manage and visualization all system alarms.
The system also gives the operator the option to view live video feeds of the areas that have an alarm.
The system provides maintenance management software and system wide management reports. This
system will combine the ZEAG cash management system, Intelligent Parking System, ANPR and
CCTV camera system all into one easy to use interface for the Etihad Towers Parking System.
How the System Works
Intelligent Dashboard is based on a Client – Server system architecture. The server collects all the
information from the subsystems and forwards all this information to the Dashboard Client PC’s. The
information is displayed on 4 easy to use screens: Dashboard Overview, Site View, Live Video and
Video Verification.
The system also has an advanced maintenance module. This module will automatically generate
maintenance events in Intelligent Maintenance. This allows the operators and managers to easily track
and record all maintenance events with an easy to use interface. This system is capable of sending
reports via email to managers on all maintenance events. The system can also send SMS messages to
technicians in the field to provide them with maintenance information specific to a device.
Dashboard Server
This is where all the subsystems connect and all the information processing is done. This Dashboard
Server runs off a standard Windows 2003 server environment and uses SQL server system to store all
of its information. All the Dashboard Client computers connect to the Dashboard Server machine to
receive all their information.
The Dashboard Server system
displays information on all
subsystem communications
on a user friendly interface.
The Dashboard Server
interface also logs all alarms
and commands from the
subsystems in an easy to read
form.

Intelligent Dashboard
Dashboard Client Overview
The Dashboard Overview provides an overview of all the parking systems performances from one
location.
The overview window shows pie chart graphs that display each subsystem’s overall health. At the top
of the overview page is the activity window that displays a running dialog of recent actions in
Intelligent Dashboard. The left pane of the window shows a listing of all locations available for
viewing. A name highlighted in red indicates an alarm state.
The Overview also
displays a 24 hour graph
showing historical data on
how many alarms have
been triggered in the last
day. It also provides
current and long term
information for the past 30
days on the number of
alarms that have occurred
on each subsystem.
Site View
The Site View shows alarm details and detailed information on each alarm. Clicking on a red alarm
will allow the operator to view the location and device type for that alarm. Information detailing the
alarm is then shown. The system also allows the user to view a live camera view of the area where the
alarm is occurring.
Displayed below (left) is the status of each subsystem, with ZEAG in alarm. The alarm will be sent to
all clients and it will log an event in Intelligent Maintenance. By clicking the Device Type tab at the
top of the window, the operator will be able to view the alarm location (below - right).

Intelligent Dashboard
Live Video
Live Video allows the user to select an area where a specific alarm is occurring and bring up all
camera views of that area. This allows the operator to better assess the situation of the incident.
Live Video Verification
This view allows the operator to quickly verify if all the CCTV cameras on the network are
functioning correctly. Operators are able to monitor each camera to check for problems such as
damage or an obstruction in the camera’s line of sight. The user can select the option in the system that
the camera is okay or select the option to have an operator repair this camera. If a repair option is
selected this will automatically generate a maintenance event in the Intelligent Maintenance module. A
maintenance event is then created and a technician is sent to repair the camera. Once all of the cameras
have been checked the system will revert back to the Intelligent Dashboard Live Video view.

Intelligent Maintenance
Intelligent Maintenance is a maintenance support system that keeps an automatic listing of all alarms
and maintenance activities that have been created by the sub-systems. This tool allows operators and
supervisors the ability to record and track maintenance events.
Intelligent Dashboard also has the capabilities to record all operator responses to alarms and log all
alarms into a centralized database. The system can also provide text and email messaging of critical
alarms to operators. The maintenance tool is useful for printing reports in a specific time frame or for
creating a user-generated report on all maintenance activities. An operator can create any maintenance
activity from an easy to use interface build into the system.
Benefits of Intelligent Dashboard:
Integration of all alarms into one interface
Operators are able to manage entire system from one centralized location
 Easier to track maintenance events
Monitor system health and status from one interface
