Alzheimer's Disease primarily attacks three areas of the brain.Identify the areas in the picture.

Scientists theorize that the culpritsresponsible for the death of the brain cellsresulting from the disease are due toneurofibillary tangles and plaques.

The cerebral cortex forms plaques and tangles.The hippocampus shrinks.The ventricles become enlarged.
