Install the Intel Ethernet QSFP+/SFP Optics (10G/40G Modular Optical Transceiver)

1. Locate your product’s QSFP+ or SFP+ module receptacle. 2. With the optical oriented with the bale on top, firmly push the modular optical transceiver into the

QSFP+ or SFP+ receptacle until it clicks. 3. Plug the modular optical cable in.

1. Disconnect the optical receptacle. 2. Lower the bale on the transceiver. 3. Pull the bale away from the optical module receptacle until the transceiver is free of the

receptacle.
