      April 11 through 15, 2016Essential Question: In what ways are our political views shaped?Unit Goal: Students will learn about the mechanisms that allow citizens to organize and communicate theirinterests and concerns. Among These are political parties, elections, interest groups, and media. Students learn about where their own politicalideas fall on the political spectrum and understand issues from a variety of perspectives.
