Kingspan’s Optimo Flat Architectural InsulatedWall & Facade Systems
2
The KS1000 Optimo represents
a dramatic breakthrough; pre-
engineered cladding systems,
delivering a flat, clean, smooth,
aesthetically appealing, and
modern result.
So whether considering a new build or refurbishment
project, with Kingspan Optimo Wall and Facade Systems
specifiers can now be confident that there is a practical
solution to optimise the visual impact of any design.
The systems, with their slim sight lines, create a visually
striking appearance for the building’s all-important wall
envelope. Available in cover widths of 600, 900 or
1000mm, the systems have hidden joints that conceal
fasteners from view. The advanced Optimo Systems also
come with a broad range of accessories which provide
3
design flexibility with enhanced visual impact to ensure
an integrated solution is achieved. Kingspan Optimo can
be used in conjunction with the full range of architectural
wall systems. This allows a variation in colours, textures
and profiles of the panels, which creates an interesting
blend on the building.
The Optimo Systems are available with Kingspan’s
Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB)
and Factory Mutual (FM) insurer approved specifications.
The Optimo Systems are backed by Kingspan’s
comprehensive product guarantee and technical
support.

and flexible in design, making it
suited for high quality architectural
applications.
In common with other Kingspan
Insulated Wall and Facade Systems,
Optimo has been created to
successfully integrate the need to
provide building design teams with
the maximum potential to realise
aesthetic requirements, whilst also
offering optimum - bottom-line
performance, construction quality
and crucially, long life low
maintenance in-use benefits for
owner/occupiers.
KS1000 Optimo-A
In this case the Optimo-A System is supplied with a
hidden tongue and groove joint providing clean
horizontal lines and features coated steel top hat (SP5)
and a choice of flush (SP6) or recessed (SP7) coated
steel inserts.

-In The Frame
This ‘picture frame’ version of the Optimo Systems -
accentuates the exterior wall image of the building, and
significantly is able to reflect the geometry of other
critical aspects of a design, such as glazing.
The horizontal and vertical frame effect on KS1000
Optimo-B produces a curtain wall detail, featuring
coated aluminium snap-on vertical mullion (SP2) and
horizontal transom (SP3).
