IntroductionOur project is Computerized System For the Two wheeler Insurance. Theoriental Insurance co.lid company consists of customer and motorbike
Insurance is an important way to prepare you for unexpectedlosses. Most people have a basic understanding of insurance. You receivefinancial compensation when an insured event occurs. Consider auto
insurance, for example. If your car is in an accident or stolen, yourinsurance company provides compensation according to the terms outlinedin your insurance policy.
On the surface, life insurance is pretty straightforward. When theinsured person dies, the policy pays a prearranged amount to thedesignated beneficiary. The following parties are generally involved in a lifeinsurance policy:
The Insured. The person on whose life the policy is based. The Beneficiary. The person who receives the payment. The Owner. The person responsible for payment of premiums. It is
typically the insured, but it could be the beneficiary. The Insurer. The insurance company that issues the policy promising
payment.
Traditionally, both spouses have life insurance policies in order toprotect their family in case one of them dies. This company is related toinsurances of Motorbikes. The Company provides insurance for the twowheeler being damaged by accident which is subject to company rules andcodes of regulations. The company has its specific set of terms andconditions. All the procedures under the company act are followedstrictlyFurther, any survey arranged allowed by Insurances Company of themotor vehicle. Insurance company will be liable to release the paymenttowards any claim of the policy only after a confirmation in this record isreceived.

SYSTEM ANALYSIS
-
8/12/2019 Insurane Report
5/36
System AnalysisThe goal of system analysis is to determine where the problem is in an
Attempt to fix system. This step involves breaking down the system indifferent pieces to analyze the situation, analyzing project goals, breakingdown what needs to be created and attempting to engage users so thatdefinite requirements can be defined. In systems design the designfunctions and operations are described in detail, including screenlayouts, business rules, process diagrams and other documentation. Theoutput of this stage will describe the new system as a collection of modulesor subsystems.
The design stage takes as its initial input the requirements identified inThe approved requirements document. For each requirement,a set of oneor more dsign elements will be produced as a result ofinterviews,workshops,and/or prototype efforts. Design elements describethe desired software features in detail, and generally include functionalhierarchy diagrams, screen layout diagrams, tables of business rules, business process diagrams,pseudo-code,and a comp;ete entity-relationship diagram with a full data dictionary.
These design elements are intended to describe the software insufficient detail that skilled programmers may develop the software withminimal additional input design.
The code is tested at various levels in software testing. Unit, system anduser acceptance testings are often performed. This is a grey area as manyDifferent opinions exist as to what the stages of testing are and how much,if any iteration occurs. Iteration is not generally part of the waterfallmodel, but usually some occur at this stage. In the testing the wholesystems is test one by one.

ABOUT SOFTWARE USE
Introduction to VB.NET
.NET is Microsoft Platform for building XML web-page services. In
order to have a consistence & common platform for building web-
services, there needed consistence and common way of
communication over internet with SOAP (Simple object Access
Protocol) XML can be use to handle any request and because XML is
just self describing text file of any type of operating system or browser
can consume SOAP based web services.
.Net Framework:
It is a platform which is used to compile & execute programswritten by using .Net compatible languages.

Blocks of Framework Architecture:
1) .Net compatible languages / Multi Language Support
2) Common language specification
3) Common type system
4) Common language runtime
5) Base class library
1) Net compatible languages / Multi Language Support
.NET Framework supports more than 46 languages from Pascal
to cabal to java script. The .NET Framework defines a subset of rules
that define how a language can be consumed by CLR? The set of
rules are called COMMON LANGUAGE SPECIFICATION. vb.net,
c#.net, jscrirt.net, VC++.net are languages compatible to .netframework.
2) Common language specification
These are set of rules defined for .net compatible languages. It
helps to enhance & insure language interoperability by defining a set
of features that developer can really on to the available in wide varietyof languages.
3) Common type system
-

It is a part of CLS. The CLS performs following functions:
Establishes a framework that helps cross language integral type
safely & high performance code execution.
Provide an object oriented model that supports the complete
implementation of many programming language.
Define rules that language must be follow which helps to insure
that5 object written in different
4) Base class library (BCL).Net Framework provide set of hierarchy objects broken down by
functionality called BCL. The Class provides set of common object
oriented interface. The BCL Classes divided in name spaces, which
define naming skill for classes such as web class, data class, windows
form, xml, enterprise services and system classes.
5) Common Language Runtime (CLR)
CLR is the heart of .net framework. It takes care of entire
execution, Memory management of .net application. The .NET
Framework provides a run-time environment called the Common
Language Runtime, which manages the execution of code and
provides Services that make the development process easier.
Compilers and tools expose the runtimes functionality and enable you

to write code those benefits from this Managed execution
environment.
CONTROLS USED
Controls are graphical objects. Each control has their own
attributes i.e. properties and methods. We can use these controls
to use user inputs, display output, to import other applications and
to trigger event procedures. These controls are described briefly
below.
Label
Label control is a Graphical control used to display the text that
user cannot change directly label are often used to display
information to the user.
Text Box
Every windows user is familiar with text boxes. They are exactly
what their name implies: box-like controls in which you can enter
text. Text boxes can be multiline, have scroll bars, be read-only
& have many other attributes
Button
The button you see everywhere in visual basic application-
usually just rounded rectangular, gray button with a option.

2) It has a special virtual mode allowing to actually displayingmore than 100,000 rows without a huge performance hit.
3) It gives ability to easily apply styles to individual columns,
rows, cells, or an entire data source table.
Panel Control
Panels are the similar to group boxes difference is that the
captions and panels enabled property till is se t to false then
the controls which are placed in panel are also disabled
panels are based on the control class.

CRYSTAL REPORT
Crystal Reports allows users to graphically design data
connection and report layout. In the Database Expert, users can select and
link tables from a wide variety of data sources, including Microsoft Excel
spreadsheets, oracle databases, MS access databases and local file
system information. Fields from these tables can be placed on the reportdesign surface, and can also be used in custom formulas, using Crystal's
own syntax, which are then placed on the design surface. Formulas can be
evaluated at several phases during report generation as specified by the
developer.

Ms Access-2003Uses the Sum aggregate function in the Report header, the
calculated sum is for the entire report. The Report header prints
before the page header.
Page Header: Printed at the top of every page. Use a Page
header, for example, to repeat the report title on every page.
Group Header : aggregate function in the group header, the
sum is for the current group.
Detail: Printed once for every row in the record source. The
Detail section is where you place the controls that make up the main
body of the report.
Group Footer: Printed at the end of each group of records. Use
a Group footer to print summary information for a group.
Page Footer: Printed at the end of every page. Use a Page
footer to print page numbers or per-page information.
Report Footer: Printed once at the end of the report. Use the
Report footer to print report totals or other summary information for the
entire report. Note that the Report footer appears last in the report

Design view, but prints before the final page footer Microsoft Access
provides one of the most compressive Relational Database Systems
available today. Ms-Access 2003 is an RDBMS developed by the
leading giant, MS co-operation pack as a member of MS-Office 2003
suit for the productivity tools. Information is often more informative
when viewed by group. For instance, a report that groups sales by
region can highlight trends that otherwise might go unnoticed. Did you
know that peas are selling better in Peoria? Are tomatoes the talk of
the town in Toms River? And placing totals at the end of each group in
your report can replace a lot of manual interaction with a calculator.
Hunt and peck typists take note.
Access makes creating grouped reports easy. After you've chosen
your record source the table or query that supplies the data for your
report it's easy to jump start your report by using a wizard. A wizard
is a feature in Access that shows you a series of pages on yourscreen that ask you questions. The wizard then generates a report
based on your answers. Among those questions is one that asks for
the field or fields to use to group your report.
Understand the report sections
In Access, the design of a report is divided into sections. To create
useful reports, you need to understand how each section works. For
instance, the section in which you choose to place a calculated control
determines how Access calculates the results. Here's a summary of
the section types and their uses.

Security:-
Computer Security is the set of steps taken to protect a computer
and the information it contains with Microsoft access you can establish
a secure system. Microsoft access creates three special groups by
