DescriptionThe Decaroc panel is designed for applications in environments where temperature control, fire security and sanitary safety are of high importance such as food processing, refrigerated storage and clean rooms for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
ApplicationThe Decaroc panel is used both as a partition wall and outside wall, as well as a ceiling. The panel can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
Note: With ceiling applications, traffic must circulate via bridges or structures which are secured to the main structure. During use of the building, the ceiling can be accessed occasionally for maintenance and it is not intended that more than one person stand or move at any one time. Decking of a 30mm thick mineral wool deck bed of density
45kg/m3 covered with plywood panels of minimum 12mm laid on the panels or other appropriate specific provisions are required to allow the free movement of such personnel on the ceiling. The resistance of the ceiling must conform to the load charts as per EN 14509.
Coating & FinishesThe standard hot-dipped galvanized steel is in accordance with EN 10346. The S320GD options that are available for coated finishes are listed below. All are supplied with a protective film. For more information on the various applications in which these finishes can be used, please refer to the Isocab ‘Selection and Maintenance Guide for Coatings’:

• CLEANsafe 25, RAL 9010 or RAL 9002
• CLEANsafe 55, RAL 9010 or RAL 9002

DensityThe nominal density is as below:• 50C= 95kg/m3
• 50F= 120kg/m3
Panel JointThe panel joint is a symmetric tongue and groove connection with excellent thermal and structural performance.
ThicknessesThe following thicknesses are proposed: 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 170, 200, 240 & 300mm.
WidthStandard: 1170mmFor container transport: 1120mm
LengthsStandard lengths are from 2m. The maximum panel length is 19,2m. The maximum length for panels of 240 and 300 mm is 9m. Panel lengths from 13.5m to 19.2m require specific packaging, additional transport costs and mechanical handling equipment on the building site. Please contact technical services for more information.
Sea FreightWooden crates or steel containers are available for projects where sea freight is required.
DeliveryAll deliveries, unless indicated otherwise, are by road transport to project site. Off-loading is the responsibility of the client.
ProfilesThe profiles Ribbed, Linea, Twinlook and Smooth are available for the external sheet. For the internal sheet, the Ribbed and Smooth profiles are available. Please see Figure 1 for more information.
Reaction to FireDecaroc is A2-s1, d0. The panel is also FM Global approved.
Fire Resistance50F mineral wool insulation, partition and exterior wall application:
• EI 60: 80mm or greater horizontal & vertical installation up to 4m span
• EI 90: 100mm horizontal & vertical installation up to 4m span (stitching screw obligatory every 300mm in the joint on both sides of the panel)
• EI 120: 120mm or greater vertical installation up to 4m span. Horizontal installation up to 6m
• EI 180 : 300mm vertical & horizontal installation up to 4m span
50F mineral wool insulation, ceiling application:
• EI 120: 120mm up to 5.40m span (stitching every 300mm in the joint on the opposing side of the fire)
• EI 180: 120mm up to 4.4m span (stitching every 300mm in the joint on the opposing side of the fire)
• EI 180: 300mm up to 2.5m span. Maximum panel length 5m (stitching every 300mm in the joint on the opposing side of the fire)

CertificationThe Isocab Decaroc panel is certified with FM Global.
Acoustic PerformanceDecaroc panels have a predicted single figure weighted sound reduction of Rw (C;Ctr)= 29dB (-1;-3) for a thickness of 60mm, and Rw(C;Ctr) = 30 dB (-2;-3) for a thickness of 100 mm.
AirtightnessPlease contact Technical Services for airtightness values.
GuaranteeAn Isocab Structural and Thermal Guarantee of up to 10 years is available. Please contact your sales person for more information.
QualityDecaroc is manufactured in factories benefitting from ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 certifications.
PackingDecaroc panels are stacked horizontally with the outer sheet at the top. The complete package is wrapped in polyethylene. The number of panels in each packet is dependent on the panel length, the weight and the thickness. A typical package height is 1200mm. The maximum package weight is 1500kg. For shipment by truck only.
