• EconomicalAvailable from stock and ready to use, these are easy to put in place and can considerably reduce set-up times.
• FlexibleMade from braided copper, they can be easily adapted to all connection configurations through the large choice of lengths and currents available (up to 1000 A). As they are supple and easy to bend, connections are facilitated whilst reducing the space required, as compared to flexible bar or cable solutions.
• ReliableThe braid connections have the same property as a rigid bar, eliminating any issues of corrosion, loosening and overheating over time.The insulated sheathing of the braid gives a high level of insulation whilst being self-extinguishing.
Insulated flat copper braids are mainly used for providing the insulated power connections between busbars and all typesof electrical equipment.They can be perfectly integrated intotertiary or industrial electricalcabinets up to 1000 VAC.They can also be used to create DC and photovoltaic connectionsup to 1500 VDC.Their halogen-free design (no chlorine orfluorine) is particularly well suited to applications sensitive to toxic smokeand in particular to public distribution.
