Horse Safety Australia qualifies instructors in all styles of horse riding and handling (English, Natural, Western, Stock etc.) Attaining qualifications (and through this, being eligible for membership of Horse Safety Australia ) involves attending a 4-day hands-on Horse Safety Australia clinic for assessment of the candidates’ skills. To maintain their registration, every 3 years members must supply proof of ongoing professional development, current experience, compliance with our strict standards for running horse riding programs, and up-to-date first aid certification. HORSE SAFETY AUSTRALIA QUALIFICATIONS... defined Assistant instructors/assistant trail guides must work under the direct supervision (alongside) a fully qualified instructor/trail guide. Instructors are able to work unsupervised in routine and controlled situations in a confined area. Provisional instructors may work alone under the indirect supervision of a qualified instructor in controlled environments.
