When prompted, select the Vidyo plugin installation instructions and click the Install Vidyo Web Extension option.

Click Add to Chrome.2

Install the VidyoWeb ExtensionIn order to use the MyAltaMed Video feature, you must first install the VidyoWeb Extension. (You will only have to do this once on your computer device. Any subsequent video visits will not require re-installation.)


When your screen returns to the MyAltaMed window click TEST HARDWARE.1

When prompted, click on the Download Vidyo plugin option.

Allow the installation to complete.4 Restart Google Chrome by typing in the address bar:chrome://restart

Open the downloaded file to start the installation.(Commonly at the bottom of your screen.)

Download VidyoWeb Plugin(Remember that you will only have to do this once on your computer device. Any subsequent video visits will not require re-download.)


Using the Google Chrome browser go to MyAltaMed.net and sign in using your username and password.

Click BEGIN VIDEO VISIT.

After successful hardware test your camera will turn on and the icons will turn green. Click Continue.

Click Allow.To allow your computer to use the microphone and camera.

You will now be placed in a virtual waiting room and your provider will be with you shortly!
