This is just a suggestion. INTRODUCTIONGENERAL SPECIFICATIONSThe banner may be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese with 60cm width and 90cm height (use only this page, second page is just for the examples). The banner must contain the Title, Author(s), Affiliations and Keywords on the top. The bottom line, could be used for the logos of your institution (replace the ones in this model for yours, use transparent background). If acronyms are used, define them before their first occurrence.Keywords: Instructions, ENEBI style, Computational Mechanics, articleTITLEThe title should be written centered, in 54pt, boldface Times Roman, all capital letters. It should be placed inside a white 60% transparent rectangle. Acronyms may be used if defined in-line, for instance Large Eddy Simulation (LES) of flow around a cylinder.AUTHORThe authors name should include first name, middle name initials and last name. It should be written centered, in 28pt boldface Times Roman. Put all the authors together, split in several lines if necessary. Affiliations must be arranged in centered blocks, after the authors. Identify each author with its corresponding affiliation using a letter superscript, as in the example. If all the authors belong to the same affiliation do not use superscriptAFFILIATIONAuthors affiliation should be written centered, in 20pt Italic Times Roman. It is recommended that authors include an e-mail address and a web page per affiliation site, if possible.KEYWORDSPlease, write no more than six keywords. They should be written centered, in 28pt Times Roman, and the line must begin with the words Keywords boldfaced (use Palabras Clave in Spanish and Palavras Chave in Portuguese).HEADINGSThe main headings should be written left aligned, in 40pt, boldface and all capital Times Roman letters, using 2cm tab from the left side of the text box.MAIN HEADINGSSECONDARY HEADINGSThe secondary headings should be written left aligned, in 36pt, italic and all capital Times Roman letters, using 2,5cm tab from the left side of the text box.TEXTThe normal text should be written single-spaced, justified, using 32pt Times Roman in two columns, using 2,5cm tab from the left side of the text box. The first line of each paragraph must not be indented. The text boxes in the left column must have its left side placed 30pt from the center of the banner. The ones in the right column must have its right side placed 28,6pt from the center of the banner. All text boxes, including headers, must have 30cm width.FIGURESAll figures should be numbered consecutively and captioned. The caption should be written centered, in 20pt Times Roman, upper and lower case letters (see Figure 1). Figures should be referenced in the text. Color figures are welcomed. Its recommended to use a transparent background for the figures (click image, Format > Recolor > Define transparent color (Office 2007)).EQUATIONSThe equations should be centered and numbered using Arabic numbers in parentheses in the right. Tip: Use equations from MS-WORD pasted as advanced metafile (example in the next page).TABLESAll tables should be numbered consecutively and captioned; the caption should be 20pt Times Roman, upper and lower case letters (example in the next page).REFERENCESReferences should be quoted in the text using the author-style (a.k.a. Harvard style). References can be cited in parenthetical form (Zienkiewicz and Taylor, 1991; Idelsohn and Oate, 1994; Meyer et al. 1995b, a), or in textual form, e.g. see Zienkiewicz and Taylor (1991); Idelsohn and Oate (1994); Meyer et al. (1995b, a). References are grouped together and sorted alphabetically at the end of the banner. Do not include references that are not cited in the article body. Use the text formatting for the references (example in the next page).CONCLUSIONTemplate files in MS-Word may be found at the ENEBI2011 web site: http://www.enebi2011.ufpr.br/. The image, table, equation and references examples can be found in the next page.Remember: the banner is just this page. In your banner use the figures, tables, equations and references between your text, after all, banner should not have a lot of text, but your ideas, samples and results.
