Shock protector General safety instruction Usage of hedge trimmer always involves the risk of accidents, therefore please observe the relevant accident prevention instructions. The machine has been constructed according to the latest technology and in accordance with the recognized technical safety regulations. Nevertheless, use of the machine can involve risks to the user or the third persons, and can cause damage to the machine or other objects. Attention: Using electric power tools, you must observe following safety instructions to protect yourself against electric shock, danger of injuries and danger of fire. Read all these instructions before using the hedge trimmer and observe strictly. Keep these safety instructions at a safe place. Use the machine in a safety conscious manner for suitable applications in a technically perfect condition only and with due regard to the operating instructions! Immediately rectify or have rectified any faults which could adversely affect safety! This machine may cause serious injuries. Please read the instruction manual carefully as to the correct handling, the preparations, the maintenance and the proper use of the hedge trimmer. Familiarize yourself with the machine before the first use and also have you introduced to practical use of the machine. Application The machine is only intended for trimming hedges. Use for any other purpose constitutes inappropriate use. The manufacturer / supplier is not liable for any injury and/or damage arising from inappropriate use. This risk is the sole responsibility of the user. Appropriate use of the machine also includes adherence to the operating instructions and maintenance instructions. Always keep the operating instructions close at hand during operation!

Safety instructions WARNING. Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may

result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. The term “power tool” in all of the warnings below

refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

Save these instructions

Work area

• Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.

• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable

liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

• Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you

to lose control.

Electrical safety

• Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any

adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will

reduce risk of electric shock.

• Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and

refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.

• Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase

the risk of electric shock.

• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool.

Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords

increase the risk of electric shock.

• When operating a power tool outdoors, use an outdoor extension cord suitable for outdoor

use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

Personal safety

• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool.

Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or

medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal

injury.

• Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as a dust mask,

non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce

personal injuries.

• Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before plugging in. Carrying

power tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in power tools that have the switch on invites

accidents.

• Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the tool on. A wrench or a key that is left

attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.

• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of

the power tool in unexpected situations.

• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves

away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

• If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities

ensure that these are connected and properly used. Use of these devices can reduce

dust-related hazards.

Power tool use and care

• Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct

power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.

• Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.

• Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing

accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting

the power tool accidentally.

• Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with

the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in

the hands of untrained users.

• Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts

and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the

power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

• Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges

are less likely to bind and are easier to control.

• Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc., in accordance with these instructions and

in the manner intended for the particular type of power tool, taking into account the working

conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from

intended could result in a hazardous situation.

Service

• Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair personnel using only identical

replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

Hedge trimmer safety warnings:

• Keep all parts of the body away from the cutter blade. Do not remove cut material or hold

material to be cut when blades are moving. Make sure the switch is off when clearing

jammed material. A moment of inattention while operating the hedge trimmer may result in serious

personal injury.

• Carry the hedge trimmer by the handle with the cutter blade stopped. When transporting or

storing the hedge trimmer always fit the cutting device cover. Proper handling of the hedge

trimmer will reduce possible personal injury from the cutter blades.

• Keep cable away from cutting area. During operation the cable may be hidden in shrubs and can

be accidentally cut by the blade.

Additional safety rules for hedge trimmers

• Keep hands and fingers well away from the blade.

• Wear work gloves, eye protection, solid shoes and trousers when using this hedge trimmer.

• Always grasp both handles when operating the unit.

• Disconnect the trimmer from the mains supply when you have finished work, before cleaning or if

you have been interrupted.

• This trimmer has been designed to cut soft, new growth and should not be used on branches, hard

wood or other forms of cutting.

• Do not attempt to free a jammed blade before first switching off the machine and disconnecting it

from the mains supply

• If you are interrupted when operating the trimmer, complete the process and switch off before

looking up.

• Never allow untrained users or children to use the trimmer.

• If the replacement of the supply cord is necessary, this has to be done by the manufacturer of his

agent in the order to avoid a safety hazard.

• Advice to check the hedge for foreign objects, e.g. wire fences.

• Recommendation for the use of a residual current device with a tripping current of 30 mA or less

• Instruction to hold the hedge trimmer properly, e.g. with both hands if two handles are provided.

Before use Power connection The machine can only be connected to a single-phase a. c. current connection. The machine is protectively insulated in accordance with classification II of VDE 0740 and can therefore be connected to sockets without earth connections. Before using the machine ensure that the mains current agrees with the operating voltage data on the machine’s identification label. Power Circuit Breaker : Machines which will be used in different outside locations must be connected to a Power Circuit Breaker. Securing the extension lead (Fig. 2) Only use extension leads suitable for outside use. The cross section of the wire (max. length of extension cord: 75m must be at least 1.5 mm2. Secure the equipment flex to the extension lead by inserting the extension lead into the cable holder of the housing. Extension leads longer than 30 m will reduce the performance of the machine.

Mounting the hand guard Push the supplied hand guard (2) over the blades and fix securely with each screws on both sides of

the housing as showed in drawings.

Starting up Do not use the trimmer in rain or for cutting wet hedges! Check the hedge trimmer cord and plug and its connections before each and every use for visible signs of damage (disconnect the power plug ) ! Do not use a faulty cord and plug. Warning! Protective gloves must be worn when using the hedge trimmer. Switching on/off the hedge trimmers Please be sure to stand safely when you switch the hedge trimmer on. This hedge trimmer has a 2-hand safety switch. To switch the device on both switches (Fig. 1) must be pushed and held fast. To switch the device off release both switches. The motor is already turned off if one of the two switches is released. On the topside of this hedge trimmer is a level to enable horizontal cuts from the rear side of bushes and hedges to the operator. (Fig. 1) Holding the hedge trimmer when in use (Fig. 5) This equipment will enable you to cut or trim bushes and hedges easily and comfortably. Trimming of hedges

Young shoots are best cut in a scythe movement. Older and stronger hedges are best cut in a swing movement. Branches, which are too thick for the hedge trimmer, should be cut with a saw. Sides of hedges should be cut upwards in a taper.

In order to achieve an even height Fix a guide line at the required height. Cut evenly over this guide line.

Optimum Safety The 4 special features two-hand safety switch, quick blade stop, protective cover, blade safety rail and impact protector are fitted to provide the hedge trimmer with optimum safety features. Two-hand safety switch (Fig. 1) To switch on and to run the hedge trimmer you need both hands: The switching bar in the rear handle as well as the switch in the front handle must be depressed. As soon as one of the switches is released, the trimmer blades will stop in max. 1 sec. Quick blade stop In order to avoid injuries through cuts, the blade will stop in max. 1sec. when one of the two switches is released. Blade safety rail (Fig. 1+4) The cutting blade set back from the blade housing reduces the risk of injuries due to unintentional body contact. As soon as the hedge trimmer is switched off, the sharp cutting blades will stop immediately. Impact protector (Fig. 4) The extended guide rail prevents unpleasant shocks (blade recoil) being transmitted to the operator due to impact with solid objects (wall, ground etc.).

Maintenance Always disconnect the plug from the power socket before commencing any work on the machine. Important: Always clean and oil the blades after prolonged use of the hedge trimmer. This will greatly affect the life of the equipment. Damaged cutting units must be properly repaired immediately. Clean the blades with a dry cloth, or in case of heavier dirt with a brush. Attention: Danger of injury! Oiling of the blades should ideally be carried out using an environmentally friendly lubricant (Fig. 3). Sharpening of the blades The blades generally do not need servicing and do not require re-sharpening if used correctly. Changing the blades Only correct installation of the blades will guarantee problem-free operation and function of the above mentioned safety feature. Changing of the blades should therefore only be carried out at a specialist workshop. Storing the Trimmer after Use The hedge trimmer must be stored such that there is no danger of injuries being caused to persons by the cutting blades! Important note: The blades should be cleaned after each use. This will considerably increase the service life of the device. Please use a lubricator that is not harmful to the environment. Then put the shears in the storage bag. Instructions de sécurité Ce paragraphe est consacré aux instructions de sécurité fondamentales concernant le travail avec le

taille-haie électrique.

L’utilisation de cet appareil exige la stricte observation des instructions de sécurité.

Avant que vous commenciez à travailler avec cet appareil, nous vous prions de vous

familiariser consciencieusement avec toutes les pièces et tous les éléments de

commande. Exercez-vous tout d’abord à utiliser l’appareil et n’hésitez pas à demander à un

utilisateur expérimenté ou à un spécialiste qu’il vous explique le fonctionnement, le mode

d’action ainsi que les différentes techniques de travail que l’appareil vous offre. Assurez-vous

qu’en cas d’urgence, vous pourrez immédiatement arrêter l’appareil. Une utilisation non

conforme de l’appareil risque de provoquer de graves blessures.

Précautions à prendre pour travailler avec le taille-haies électrique: • Débranchez la prise avant toute intervention, entretien ou nettoyage de l’appareil.

• Tenez toujours l’appareil fermement avec les deux mains.

• Vérifiez qu’il n’y ait pas d’obstacles ou fils électriques cachés dans la zone de travail.

• Si les lames deviennent coincées, débranchez la prise du secteur avant d’intervenir pour les

libérer.

• Vérifiez l’état du câble électrique, de la prise ainsi que de l’état général de l’appareil avant

chaque utilisation. N’utilisez jamais un appareil avec un câble ou autres pièces endommagées.

Ne touchez jamais un câble endommagé avant d'avoir débranché la prise. En cas de dommage

quelconque, faites réparer l’appareil par un réparateur agrée.

• Arrêtez immédiatement l’appareil si vous constatez un niveau de vibration anormale. En cas de

dommage à la lame, il est nécessaire de changer l’ensemble complet des lames

• Ne débranchez jamais l’appareil en tirant sur le câble électrique.

• Utilisez l’appareil uniquement si tous les dispositifs de protection sont montés. N’utilisez jamais

l’appareil avec un équipement de protection défectueux. Ne procédez à aucune modification de

l’appareil sans l’accord explicite du constructeur

• Veillez à tenir le câble éloigné de la zone de travail.

• Ne travaillez pas avec l’appareil lorsqu’il pleut, par mauvais temps ou dans un environnement

humide.

• Ne travaillez que dans un environnement bien éclairé

• Portez toujours l’appareil par une de ces poignées, jamais par le câble électrique.

• L’utilisation d’un taille-haie électrique par des enfants est interdite. De la même manière,

l’appareil ne doit jamais être utilisé par des personnes qui ne se seraient pas soigneusement

familiarisées avec son manuel d’utilisation. Des réglementations locales peuvent

éventuellement fixer un âge minimum d’utilisation de l’appareil.

• Porter toujours des lunettes de sécurité ou autre protection des yeux, une protection acoustique

ainsi que des gants de travail, Portez des vêtements de travail appropriés tels que bottes ou

chaussures à semelles antidérapantes, pantalons longs et robustes. Attachez les cheveux longs

d’une manière à éviter qu'ils viennent en contact avec les lames.

• L’appareil ne doit jamais être utilisé à proximité de personnes, surtout d’enfants et d’animaux

domestiques. Interrompez immédiatement le travail si cette condition n’est pas remplie. Dans

tous les cas, veillez à assurer une zone de sécurité de 5 mètres autour de votre zone d’activité.

Vous êtes responsables des accidents causés à autrui.

• Veillez à toujours adopter une position de travail bien stable. Soyez extrêmement prudent si

vous travaillez sur un terrain en pente. Ne travaillez pas avec cet appareil si vous être fatigué,

malade ou sous l’influence d’alcool, de drogues ou de médicaments. Faites des pauses de

travail réguliers pour diminuer les risques entraînés par la fatigue.

• Ne laissez jamais un appareil branché sans surveillance. Vérifiez que les lames ne sont plus en

mouvements. Débranchez l’appareil dès que vous le posez ou si vous devez le porter d’un

endroit à un autre. Utilisez le protecteur de la lame.

Utilisation du taille-haie

Vérifiez si la tension secteur coïncide bien avec celle indiquée sur la plaque signalétique sur l’appareil. Cet appareil ne nécessite pas une mise a terre. Ne bloquez jamais l’interrupteur Marche/Arrêt. Une fois relâché, il doit automatiquement arrêter le moteur. Au cas où l’interrupteur serait endommagé, l’appareil ne devra en aucun cas être utilisé. Verifiez que le secteur où est branché l’appareil incorpore un système de coupe circuit à declenchement rapide de 30 mA maxi, sinon utilisez un coupe circuit

amovible disponible chez votre revendeur. Veuillez observer les normes de protection contre les nuisances acoustiques ainsi que les prescriptions et directives locales en vigueur. Il se peut que les administrations interdisent ou limitent l’utilisation de l’appareil certains jours (par exemple le dimanche et les jours fériés), au cours de certaines heures de la journée (le midi, le soir, la nuit), ou dans certaines zones urbaines (stations thermales, cliniques, hospices, etc.). FIXATION DU CABLE DE RALLONGE. Utilisez uniquement des rallonges homologuées pour usage externe La section interne du câble jusqu’a 75m de longueur doit avoir un diamètre interne d’au moins 1.5mm. Fixez le rallonge autour de l’accroche câble sur la poignée et branchez la prise de l’appareil à la rallonge. Les rallonges de plus de 30 m de longueur réduisent la performance de l’appareil.

MONTAGE DU PROTECTEUR DE LA MAIN Positionnez le protecteur (2) sur le corps de la machine au dessus de la lame et fixez le des deux

côtés avec les vis fournies (Voir fig.1)

FONCTION MARCHE/ARRET Veillez à toujours adopter une position de travail bien stable pour utiliser l’appareil. Ce taille-haies est muni d’un interrupteur de sécurité qui nécessite que les deux mains soient apposées sur les deux interrupteurs (fig. 1) pour faire fonctionner l’appareil. Les deux interrupteurs (fig. 1) doivent être enclenchés pour mettre l’appareil en marche. Pour arrêter la machine, lâchez les deux interrupteurs. Le moteur s’arrête dès que l’un des deux interrupteurs est relâché. TRAVAIL Cet appareil vous permet de tailler ou couper les haies et les buissons. Tailler les haies:

• Pour les jeunes tiges, le meilleur résultat est obtenu avec un mouvement de va et vient. Tenez les lames légèrement inclinées.

• Les haies plus âgées nécessitent un mouvement d’un cote à l’autre.Tenez les lames légèrement inclinées.

• Les branches trop épaisses doivent être coupées avec une scie • Pour les faces perpendiculaires des haies, employez un mouvement de coupe de bas en

haut Pour obtenir une finition plate

• Utilisez un guide fil au dessus duquel vous couperez. SECURITE Cet appareil incorpore quatre éléments de sécurité:

• Un interrupteur contrôlé par deux gâchettes. Il est nécessaire de tenir la machine fermement par les deux mains pour faire fonctionner le moteur. Le moteur s’arrête et le frein de lame est déclenché dès que vous relâchez l’une des deux gâchettes. • Un frein de lame. Il arrête la lame en moins de 0.2secondes. • Une lame de sécurité et un protège lame (Fig. 1+4). La lame de sécurité comporte des dents stationnaires qui dépasse les dents tranchants pour diminuer le risque de blessure en cas de contact involontaire. Le fourreau de lame protége la lame pendant le stockage. • Une butée anti-rebond (Fig. 4). Ce système aide a empêcher la lame en mouvement de heurter les obstacles solides (murs, tronc d’arbre, sol etc.) et causer un rebond violent de la machine.

NETTOYAGE Enlever la prise du secteur avant tout intervention sur la machine. Nettoyez et entretenez votre taille-haies régulièrement. De cette manière, il conservera ses excellentes performances de coupe pendant de nombreuses années. • A la suite de chaque tâche de coupe, nettoyez le dispositif de coupe et le carter en veillant à soigneusement enlever tous les déchets végétaux. • Vérifiez que les ouvertures de ventilation du moteur soient propres • Nettoyez l’appareil en utilisant une brosse à poils doux ou un chiffon. • L’appareil ne doit être ni lavé au jet d’eau ni immergé dans l’eau. • N’utilisez pas de nettoyant, de détergent ou de solvant. Ceci risque de détériorer l’appareil irrémédiablement. Les substances chimiques risquent d’attaquer les pièces en matière plastique. ENTRETIEN/RANGEMENT Enlevez la prise du secteur avant tout intervention sur la machine. • Nettoyez soigneusement les lames ainsi que l’appareil après chaque utilisation. Des lames bien

entretenues n’ont généralement pas besoin d’aiguisage. • Rangez l’appareil dans un local sec et propre pour éviter le risque de moisissure. Evitez l’usage

de sacs plastiques • Déposez quelques gouttes d’huile biodégradable entre les lames et utilisez le protecteur de la

Terugslagbeveiliging Toepassingsgebied Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor het snoeien van heggen. Bij ieder ander gebruik kan het apparaat beschadigd raken en dreigt er gevaar voor de gebruiker en anderen. De fabrikant wijst iedere aansprakelijkheid van de hand, indien er schade ontstaat door een onjuist gebruik van het apparaat of een gebruik dat niet in overeenstemming is met de voorschriften. Veiligheidsvoorschriften In deze paragraaf worden de essentiële veiligheidsvoorschriften voor het werken met de elektrische

heggenschaar behandeld.

Het gebruik van dit apparaat vereist een strikte naleving van de

veiligheidsvoorschriften.

Voordat u met dit apparaat gaat werken, verzoeken wij u om u nauwgezet vertrouwd

te maken met alle onderdelen en bedieningsknoppen. Oefen eerst hoe u het apparaat

moet gebruiken en aarzel niet een ervaren gebruiker of specialist te vragen u de werking

en de verschillende werkmethoden van het apparaat uit te leggen. Vergewis uzelf ervan

dat u het apparaat in noodgevallen onmiddellijk kunt stopzetten. Als het apparaat niet in

overeenstemming met de voorschriften wordt gebruikt, kan dit tot ernstige

verwondingen leiden. Voorzorgsmaatregelen die u moet nemen voor het werken met de elektrische heggenschaar: • Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact, voordat u werkzaamheden of onderhoud aan het apparaat

verricht of het apparaat schoonmaakt.

• Houd het apparaat altijd stevig met beide handen vast.

• Controleer of er zich geen verborgen obstakels of elektrische draden in het werkgebied

bevinden.

• Bij blokkering van de messen de stekker uit het stopcontact halen, voordat u de messen

vrijmaakt.

• Controleer voor ieder gebruik de staat van de stroomkabel en de stekker, evenals de algemene

staat van het apparaat. Gebruik het apparaat nooit als de kabel of andere onderdelen

beschadigd zijn. Raak een beschadigde kabel nooit aan, voordat u de stekker uit het stopcontact

heeft gehaald. Mocht er op enigerlei wijze schade ontstaan aan het apparaat, laat het dan door

een erkende reparateur herstellen.

• Schakel het apparaat onmiddellijk uit, als u een abnormaal trillingsniveau waarneemt. In geval

van schade aan het mes is het noodzakelijk de complete messenset te vervangen.

• Gebruik nooit de stroomkabel om de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken.

• Gebruik het apparaat alleen als het met alle veiligheidsvoorzieningen is uitgerust. Gebruik het

apparaat nooit als een van de veiligheidsvoorzieningen defect is. Breng geen enkele wijziging in

het apparaat aan zonder uitdrukkelijke toestemming van de fabrikant.

• Zorg ervoor dat u de stroomkabel van uw werkgebied verwijderd houdt.

• Gebruik het apparaat niet als het regent, bij slecht weer of in een vochtige omgeving.

• Werk alleen in een goed verlichte omgeving.

• Draag het apparaat altijd aan een van de handgrepen, en nooit aan de stroomkabel.

• Het gebruik van een elektrische heggenschaar door kinderen is verboden. Evenzo mag het

apparaat nooit worden gebruikt door personen die zich niet zorgvuldig in de gebruiksaanwijzing

hebben verdiept. Het is mogelijk dat bij lokale regelgeving een minimumleeftijd voor het gebruik

van het apparaat is vastgesteld.

• Draag altijd een veiligheidsbril of een andere oogbescherming, gehoorbescherming en

werkhandschoenen. Draag geschikte werkkleding, zoals laarzen of schoenen met antislipzolen

en een stevige lange broek. Bind lang haar zodanig op, dat het niet in contact met de messen kan

komen.

• Het apparaat mag nooit gebruikt worden in de nabijheid van andere personen - in het bijzonder

kinderen - en huisdieren. Stop onmiddellijk met uw werkzaamheden als aan deze voorwaarde

niet voldaan wordt. Zorg er in ieder geval voor dat u een veiligheidszone van 5 meter rondom uw

werkgebied in acht neemt. U bent verantwoordelijk voor eventuele ongelukken die anderen

overkomen.

• Zorg altijd voor een stabiele werkhouding. Wees uiterst voorzichtig als u op een hellend terrein

werkt. Werk niet met dit apparaat als u moe of ziek bent of onder de invloed van alcohol, drugs of

medicijnen verkeert. Houd regelmatig een werkpauze om risico's die door vermoeidheid

ontstaan, te beperken.

• Laat het apparaat nooit onbewaakt achter, als de stekker nog in het stopcontact zit. Controleer of

de messen tot stilstand zijn gekomen. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact, zodra u het apparaat

neerzet of het van de ene naar de andere plaats moet dragen. Gebruik de mesbescherming.

Gebruik van de heggenschaar

Controleer of de netspanning daadwerkelijk overeenkomt met de spanning die op het typeplaatje van het apparaat is vermeld. Dit apparaat hoeft niet geaard te worden. Zorg ervoor dat u de Aan/Uit schakelaar nooit blokkeert. Als u de schakelaar loslaat, moet de motor automatisch tot stilstand komen. Het apparaat mag in geen geval gebruikt worden, als de schakelaar beschadigd is.

Controleer of het elektriciteitsnet waarop het apparaat is aangesloten, is uitgerust met een netspanningsbeveiliging van maximaal 30 mA, of gebruik anders een losse

stroomonderbreker die verkrijgbaar is bij uw leverancier. Gelieve de normen inzake de bescherming tegen geluidsoverlast in acht te nemen, evenals de van kracht zijnde lokale voorschriften en richtlijnen. Het is mogelijk dat lokale overheden het gebruik van het apparaat verbieden of beperken op bepaalde dagen (bijvoorbeeld zon- en feestdagen), gedurende bepaalde uren van de dag ('s middags, 's avonds, 's nachts), of in bepaalde stedelijke gebieden (kuuroorden, klinieken, bejaardentehuizen, enz.).

BEVESTIGING VAN HET VERLENGSNOER Gebruik uitsluitend verlengsnoeren die in de openlucht mogen worden gebruikt. Het binnenste gedeelte van de kabel met een lengte tot 75 m moet een diameter hebben van ten minste 1,5 mm. Bevestig het verlengsnoer aan het kabelhaakje op de handgreep en sluit het aan op het apparaat. Verlengsnoeren die langer zijn dan 30 m verminderen de prestaties van het apparaat.

MONTAGE VAN DE HANDBESCHERMING Plaats de handbeschermer (2) op het centrale deel van de machine boven de messen, en maak hem

aan beide kanten vast met de meegeleverde schroeven (zie fig. 1). AAN/UIT FUNCTIE Zorg ervoor dat u altijd een stabiele werkhouding aanneemt als u het apparaat gebruikt. Deze heggenschaar is uitgerust met een veiligheidsonderbreking, waardoor het noodzakelijk is beide handen op de twee schakelaars te plaatsen (fig. 1) om het apparaat te laten werken. De schakelaars (fig. 1) moeten allebei ingeschakeld zijn om het apparaat in werking te kunnen stellen. Om de machine uit te zetten, laat u de twee schakelaars los. De motor stopt, zodra een van de twee schakelaars wordt losgelaten. WERK Met dit apparaat kunt u heggen en struiken snoeien of knippen. Heggen snoeien:

• Bij jonge takjes bereikt u het beste resultaat met een heen-en-weergaande beweging. Houd de messen enigszins schuin.

• Bij oudere heggen moet u de heggenschaar van de ene tak naar de andere bewegen. Houd de messen enigszins schuin.

• Takken die te dik zijn, moeten met een zaag worden afgezaagd. • De verticale zijden van de heggen snoeit u van beneden naar boven.

Voor een vlakke afwerking: • Span een draad en snoei de heg daar net boven.

VEILIGHEID Dit apparaat bevat vier veiligheidsvoorzieningen:

• Een onderbreker die wordt aangestuurd door twee knoppen. Om de motor te laten draaien, moet de machine met twee handen stevig worden vastgehouden. Zodra u een van de twee knoppen loslaat, stopt de motor en wordt de rem op de messen in werking gesteld. • Een rem op de messen. Deze zorgt ervoor dat de messen binnen 0,2 seconde stilstaan. • Een veiligheidsmes en een mesbescherming (fig. 1 +4). Het veiligheidsmes heeft niet-bewegende tanden die verder uitsteken dan de snijdende tanden, om het risico op verwondingen in geval van onbedoeld contact te verkleinen. De mesbescherming beschermt het mes tijdens het opbergen. • Een terugslagbeveiliging (fig. 4). Dankzij dit systeem wordt voorkomen dat het bewegende mes op harde obstakels stuit (muren, boomstammen, de grond, enz.) en dat de machine plotseling terugslaat.

. REINIGING Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact, voordat u werkzaamheden van welke aard dan ook aan de machine verricht. Reinig en onderhoud uw heggenschaar regelmatig. Hierdoor zal hij zijn uitstekende snoeiprestaties gedurende vele jaren behouden. • Maak het snoeimes en het carter na iedere snoeibeurt schoon, en let er daarbij op dat u alle plantenresten zorgvuldig verwijdert. • Controleer of de ventilatieopeningen van de motor schoon zijn. • Gebruik een zachte borstel of een doek om het apparaat te reinigen. • Het apparaat mag niet met stromend water worden gereinigd of in water worden ondergedompeld. • Gebruik geen reinigings-, schoonmaak- of oplosmiddelen. Hierdoor kan het apparaat onherstelbaar beschadigd raken. Chemische stoffen kunnen kunststof onderdelen aantasten. ONDERHOUD/OPBERGEN Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact, voordat u werkzaamheden van welke aard dan ook aan de machine verricht. • Maak de messen en het apparaat na ieder gebruik zorgvuldig schoon. Goed onderhouden

messen hoeven over het algemeen niet geslepen te worden. • Berg het apparaat in een droge, schone ruimte op om het risico op schimmelvorming te

voorkomen. Gebruik liever geen plastic zakken. • Sprenkel enkele druppels biologisch afbreekbare olie tussen de messen en gebruik de

mesbescherming. • Berg het apparaat buiten het bereik van kinderen op. • Berg de heggenschaar niet voor langere tijd op in een ruimte die rechtstreeks aan zonlicht is

Antes de comenzar a trabajar con este aparato, le pedimos familiarizarse

profundamente con todas las piezas y todos los elementos de mando. En primer

lugar ejercítese en la utilización del aparato y no dude en pedir a un usuario experimentado o

a un especialista que le explique el funcionamiento, el modo de acción, así como las

diferentes técnicas de trabajo que le ofrece el aparato. Cerciórese de que, en caso de

urgencia, podrá detener el aparato de inmediato. Una utilización no conforme del aparato

puede provocar graves lesiones.

Precauciones que se deben tomar para trabajar con la cizalla eléctrica para cortar setos: • Desconecte la toma antes de cualquier intervención, mantenimiento o limpieza del aparato.

• Siempre sujete firmemente el aparato con las dos manos.

• Verifique que no hay obstáculos ni cables eléctricos ocultos en la zona de trabajo.

• Si las cuchillas se atascaran, desconecte la toma de la red eléctrica antes de intervenir para

liberarlas.

• Verifique el estado del cable eléctrico y de la toma, así como el estado general del aparato

antes de cada utilización. No utilice nunca un aparato con un cable u otras piezas dañadas.

Nunca toque un cable dañado antes de haber desconectado la toma. En caso de cualquier tipo

de daño, haga reparar el aparato por un reparador aprobado.

• Detenga de inmediato el aparato si observa un nivel de vibración anormal. En caso de daño en

la cuchilla, es necesario cambiar todas las cuchillas

• No desconecte nunca el aparato tirando del cable eléctrico.

• Utilice el aparato únicamente si están montados todos los dispositivos de protección. No utilice

nunca el aparato con un equipo de protección defectuoso. No proceda a ninguna modificación

del aparato sin el acuerdo explícito del constructor

• Mantenga el cable alejado de la zona de trabajo.

• No trabaje con el aparato cuando llueve, cuando hay mal tiempo o en un entorno húmedo.

• Sólo trabaje en un lugar bien iluminado

• Lleve siempre el aparato por una de estas palacas, nunca por el cable eléctrico.

• Está prohibido que niños utilicen una cizalla eléctrica para cortar setos. De la misma manera, el

aparato nunca debe ser utilizado por personas que no se hayan familiarizado verdaderamente

con su manual de utilización. Existe la posibilidad de que reglamentaciones locales pueden fijar

una edad mínima de utilización del aparato.

• Usar siempre gafas de seguridad u otra protección de los ojos, una protección acústica así

como guantes de trabajo. Use ropas de trabajo apropiadas como botas o calzado con suelas

antideslizantes, pantalones largos y fuertes. Ate los cabellos largos con el fin de evitar que se

pongan en contacto con las cuchillas.

• El aparato no se debe utilizar cerca de personas, sobre todo de niños y de animales domésticos.

Interrumpa de inmediato el trabajo si no se cumple esta condición. En todos los casos,

garantice una zona de seguridad de 5 metros alrededor de su zona de actividad. Usted es

responsable de los accidentes causados a terceros.

• Adopte siempre una posición de trabajo bien estable. Sea extremadamente prudente si trabaja

en un terreno en pendiente. No trabaje con este aparato si está cansado, enfermo o bajo la

influencia del alcohol, de drogas o de medicamentos. Haga descansos regulares en su trabajo

para disminuir los riesgos ocasionados por el cansancio.

• Nunca deje un aparato conectado sin vigilancia. Verifique que las cuchillas ya no están en

movimientos. Desconecte el aparato tan pronto lo deposita o si debe llevarlo de un lugar a otro.

Utilice el protector de cuchilla.

Utilización de la cizalla para cortar setos

Verifique si la tensión de la red eléctrica coincide efectivamente con la indicada en la placa de características en el aparato. Este aparato no necesita una puesta a tierra. Nunca bloquee el interruptor Funcionamiento/Parada. Una vez suelto, debe detener automáticamente el motor. En el caso en que el interruptor estuviera dañado, en ningún caso deberá utilizarse el aparato. Verifique que la red eléctrica a la que está conectado el aparato incorpora un sistema de cortocircuito de disparo rápido de 30 mA como máximo, de lo contrario utilice un cortocircuito amovible disponible en los establecimiento de su revendedor.

Observe las normas de protección contra las molestias acústicas, así como las prescripciones y directivas locales en vigor. Puede que las administraciones impidan o limiten la utilización del aparato algunos días (por ejemplo, el domingo y los días festivos), durante algunas horas del día (a mediodía, por la tarde o por la noche) o en algunas zonas urbanas (estaciones termales, clínicas, hospicios, etc.). FIJACIÓN DEL CABLE DE PROLONGACIÓN. Utilice únicamente prolongadores aprobados para uso externo La sección interna del cable hasta 75 m de longitud debe tener un diámetro interno de al menos 1.5 mm. Fije la prolongación alrededor del engancha cable en la palanca y conecte la toma del aparato a la prolongación. Las prolongaciones de más de 30 m de longitud reducen la eficacia del aparato.

MONTAJE DEL PROTECTOR DE MANO Posicione el protector (2) sobre el cuerpo de la máquina, encima de la cuchilla y fíjelo de ambos

lados con los tornillos suministrados (Ver fig.1) FUNCIÓN FUNCIONAMIENTO/PARADA Adopte siempre una posición de trabajo bien estable para utilizar el aparato. Esta cizalla para cortar setos cuenta con un interruptor de seguridad que requiere que ambas manos estén colocadas sobre los dos interruptores (fig. 1) para hacer funcionar el aparato. Los dos interruptores (fig. 1) deben estar presionados para hacer funcionar el aparato. Para detener la máquina, suelte los dos interruptores. El motor se detiene tan pronto se suelta uno de los dos interruptores. TRABAJO Este aparato le permite tallar o cortar los setos y los matorrales. Tallar los setos:

• Para los tallos jóvenes, el mejor resultado se obtiene con un movimiento de vaivén. Mantenga las cuchillas ligeramente inclinadas.

• Los setos más viejos necesitan un movimiento de un lado al otro. Mantenga las cuchillas ligeramente inclinadas.

• Las ramas demasiado gruesas deben cortarse bien con una sierra • Para las superficies perpendiculares de los setos, emplee un movimiento de corte de

abajo hacia arriba Para obtener una terminación plana

• Utilice un guiahilo encima del que hará el corte. SEGURIDAD Este aparato incorpora cuatro elementos de seguridad:

• Un interruptor controlado por dos gatillos. Es necesario sujetar la máquina firmemente con ambas manos para hacer funcionar el motor. El motor se detiene y el freno de cuchilla se activa tan pronto usted suelta uno de los dos gatillos. • Un freno de cuchilla. Detiene la cuchilla en menos de 0.2 segundos. • Una cuchilla de seguridad y un protector de cuchilla (Fig. 1+4). La cuchilla de seguridad tiene dientes estacionarios que rebasan los dientes cortantes para disminuir el riesgo de lesión en caso de contacto involuntario. La funda para cuchilla protege la cuchilla durante el almacenamiento. • Un tope antirrebote (Fig. 4). Este sistema ayuda a impedir que la cuchilla en movimiento choque contra obstáculos sólidos (paredes, troncos de árboles, suelo, etc.) y causar un violento rebote de la máquina.

. LIMPIEZA Retirar la toma de la red eléctrica antes de cualquier intervención en la máquina. Limpie y dé mantenimiento a su cizalla para cortar setos con regularidad. De esta manera conservará sus excelentes prestaciones de corte por muchos años.

• Después de cada tarea de corte, limpie el dispositivo de corte y la caja teniendo el cuidado de retirar cuidadosamente todos los desechos vegetales. • Verifique que las aberturas de ventilación del motor estén limpias • Limpie el aparato utilizando un cepillo de cerdas suaves o un paño. • El aparato no se debe lavar con chorro de agua ni sumergirse en agua. • No utilice productos de limpieza, detergentes ni solventes. Estos pueden deteriorar el aparato irremediablemente. Las sustancias químicas pueden atacar las piezas de material plástico. MANTENIMIENTO/ALMACENAMIENTO Retire la toma de la red eléctrica antes de cualquier intervención en la máquina. • Limpie cuidadosamente las cuchillas, así como el aparato después de cada utilización. uso de bolsas plásticas • Deposite algunas gotas de aceite biodegradable entre las cuchillas y utilice el protector de la

Verifique se a tensão corresponde efectivamente à que se encontra indicada na placa sinalética do aparelho. Este aparelho não requer uma ligação à terra. Nunca bloqueie o interruptor Ligar/Desligar. Uma vez liberto, este deve parar automaticamente o motor. Caso o interruptor esteja danificado, o aparelho não deve, em caso algum, ser utilizado. Verifique se o circuito eléctrico a que o aparelho está ligado tem um sistema de fusível de desencadeamento rápido, de 30 mA no máximo, senão utilize corta

circuito amovível disponível no seu revendedor. Observe as normas de protecção contra as perturbações acústicas, assim como as instruções e as directivas locais em vigor. Pode acontecer que os poderes públicos proíbam ou limitem a utilização do aparelho em determinados dias (por exemplo, aos domingos e dias feriados), ou durante determinadas horas do dia (ao meio-dia, ao fim da tarde, à noite), ou em determinadas zonas urbanas (estações termais, clínicas, lares da terceira idade, etc.). FIXAÇÃO DO CABO DE EXTENSÃO Utilize, apenas, cabos de extensão homologados para uma utilização no exterior. A secção interna do cabo, até 75 m de comprimento, deve ter um diâmetro interno de, pelo menos, 1,5 mm. Fixe o cabo de extensão em torno do suspensor de cabo na pega e ligue a tomada do aparelho ao cabo de extensão. Os cabos de extensão com mais de 30 m de comprimento reduzem o desempenho do aparelho.

MONTAGEM DO PROTECTOR DA MÃO Posicione o protector (2) sobre o corpo da máquina, por cima da lâmina, e fixe-o de ambos os lados

com os parafusos fornecidos (Ver fig. 1).

FUNÇÃO LIGAR/DESLIGAR Tenha, sempre, o cuidado de adoptar uma posição de trabalho bem estável para utilizar o aparelho. Este apara-sebes está equipado com um interruptor de segurança que requer que as duas mãos estejam colocadas sobre os dois interruptores (fig. 1) para fazer funcionar o aparelho. Os dois interruptores (fig. 1) devem ser premidos para colocar o aparelho a funcionar. Para parar a máquina, solte os dois interruptores. O motor pára logo que um dos dois interruptores é libertado. TRABALHO Este aparelho permite-lhe aparar ou cortar sebes e arbustos. Aparar sebes:

• Para as hastes jovens, obtém-se um melhor resultado com um movimento de vaivém. Mantenha as lâminas ligeiramente inclinadas.

• As sebes mais velhas requerem um movimento de um lado para o outro. Mantenha as lâminas ligeiramente inclinadas.

• Os ramos demasiado espessos devem ser cortados com um serrote. • Para as faces perpendiculares das sebes, utilize um movimento de corte de baixo para

• Utilize um fio guia sobre o qual irá cortar. SEGURANÇA Este aparelho integra quatro elementos de segurança:

• Um interruptor controlado por dois gatilhos. É necessário manter a máquina firmemente com as duas mãos para fazer funcionar o motor. O motor pára e o travão de lâmina é accionado logo que larga um dos dois gatilhos. • Um travão de lâmina. Pára a lâmina em menos de 0,2 segundos. • Uma lâmina de segurança e um protege lâmina (Fig. 1+4). A lâmina de segurança comporta dentes estacionários que ultrapassam os dentes de corte para diminuir o risco de ferimento em caso de contacto involuntário. A bainha da lâmina protege a lâmina quando está armazenada. • Um batente anti-ressalto Este sistema ajudar a impedir que a lâmina em movimento bata em obstáculos sólidos (muros, troncos de árvore, o solo, etc.) e cause um ressalto violento da máquina.

LIMPEZA Desligue da tomada eléctrica antes de qualquer intervenção na máquina. Limpe e faça a manutenção regular do seu apara-sebes. Assim, este manterá um excelente desempenho de corte durante muitos anos. • Depois de cada trabalho de corte, limpe o dispositivo de corte e o cárter, tendo o cuidado de retirar quaisquer resíduos vegetais. • Verifique se as aberturas de ventilação do motor estão limpas. • Limpe o aparelho com uma escova de pelos macios ou com um pano. • O aparelho não deve ser lavado com um jacto de água, nem imerso em água. • Não utilize um agente de limpeza, um detergente ou um diluente. Isso pode deteriorar o aparelho irremediavelmente. As substâncias químicas podem corroer as peças em matéria plástica. Bevor Sie dieses Gerät benutzen, machen Sie sich bitte mit allen Teilen und

Bedienelementen vertraut. Üben Sie zunächst die Benutzung des Geräts und zögern

Sie nicht, einen erfahrenen Benutzer oder Fachmann zu bitten, Ihnen die Funktionsweise, die

Betriebsarten sowie die verschiedenen Arbeitstechniken, die das Gerät bietet, zu erläutern.

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie im Notfall das Gerät sofort ausschalten können. Eine nicht

konforme Benutzung kann zu schweren Verletzungen führen.

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen bei der Arbeit mit der elektrischen Heckenschere: • Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker vor Reparatur-, Wartungs- oder Reinigungsarbeiten des Geräts aus

der Steckdose.

• Halten Sie das Gerät immer fest in beiden Händen.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass keine Hindernisse oder elektrische Kabel im Arbeitsbereich versteckt

sind.

• Wenn die Messer eingeklemmt sind, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie

versuchen, die Blockierung zu beheben.

• Überprüfen Sie den Zustand des Netzkabels, des Steckers sowie den allgemeinen Zustand des

Geräts vor jeder Benutzung. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht mit einem beschädigten Netzkabel

oder anderen beschädigten Teilen. Berühren Sie das beschädigte Kabel nicht, bevor Sie den

Netzstecker abgezogen haben. Lassen Sie Schäden von einem zugelassenen Reparaturdienst

beheben.

• Schalten Sie das Gerät sofort aus, wenn Sie anormale Schwingungen feststellen. Wenn das

Messer beschädigt ist, muss die gesamte Baugruppe ausgetauscht werden.

• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nicht am Netzkabel aus der Steckdose.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur, wenn alle Schutzvorrichtungen eingesetzt sind. Verwenden Sie

• Kinder dürfen die elektrische Heckenschere nicht benutzen. Desgleichen darf das Gerät nicht

von Personen benutzt werden, die sich nicht mit seiner Bedienungsanleitung vertraut gemacht

haben. Das Mindestalter für die Benutzung des Geräts kann in lokal geltenden Vorschriften

festgelegt sein.

• Tragen Sie immer eine Sicherheitsbrille oder einen anderen Augenschutz, einen Gehörschutz

sowie Arbeitshandschuhe. Tragen Sie angemessene Arbeitskleidung wie Stiefel oder Schuhe

mit rutschfester Sohle, eine feste lange Hose. Binden Sie lange Haare zurück, so dass sie nicht

mit den Messern in Berührung kommen.

• Das Gerät darf nicht in der Nähe von Personen, insbesondere von Kindern und Haustieren

benutzt werden. Unterbrechen Sie die Arbeit sofort, wenn diese Voraussetzung nicht mehr

erfüllt ist. Achten Sie in jedem Fall darauf, dass ein Sicherheitsbereich von 5 Metern rund um

den Tätigkeitsbereich eingehalten wird. Sie haften für Unfälle, bei denen andere Personen zu

Schaden kommen.

• Achten Sie auf eine stabile Arbeitsposition. Gehen Sie auf einem abschüssigen Gelände sehr

vorsichtig vor. Arbeiten Sie nicht mit dem Gerät, wenn Sie müde oder krank sind oder unter

Alkohol-, Drogen- oder Medikamenteneinfluss stehen. Machen Sie regelmäßig Pausen bei der

Arbeit, um Risiken durch Ermüdung zu vermeiden.

• Lassen Sie ein eingeschaltetes Gerät nie ohne Aufsicht. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich die

Messer nicht mehr in Bewegung befinden. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker ab, wenn Sie es ablegen

oder es an einen anderen Ort bringen müssen. Verwenden Sie den Messerschutz.

Verwendung der Heckenschere

Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Typenschild des Geräts angegebenen Spannung übereinstimmt. Dieses Gerät erfordert keine Erdung. Blockieren Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter nicht. Wenn der Schalter losgelassen wird, muss sich der Motor automatisch abschalten. Wenn der Schalter beschädigt ist, darf das Gerät auf keinen Fall benutzt werden. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Stromnetz, an das das Gerät angeschlossen ist, einen Schutzschalter mit Schnellauslösung bei max. 30 mA umfasst; verwenden Sie

andernfalls einen abnehmbaren Schutzschalter, den Sie bei Ihrem Händler erhalten. Beachten Sie die Schutznormen in Bezug auf Lärmbelästigungen sowie die örtlich geltenden Vorschriften und Richtlinien. Es kann sein, dass die Behörden die Benutzung des Geräts an bestimmten Tagen (zum Beispiel an Sonn- und Feiertagen), zu bestimmten Tageszeiten (mittags, abends, nachts) oder in bestimmten Gegenden (Thermalbäder, Kliniken, Pflegeheime etc.) untersagen oder einschränken. BEFESTIGUNG DES VERLÄNGERUNGSKABELS. Verwenden Sie nur Verlängerungskabel, die für den Gebrauch im Freien zugelassen sind. Der Innenquerschnitt eines Kabels bis zu 75 m Länge muss einen Innendurchmesser von mindestens 1,5 mm aufweisen. Befestigen Sie das Kabel am Kabelhaken am Griff und stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose des Verlängerungskabels. Verlängerungskabel von mehr als 30 m Länge verringern die Leistung des Geräts.

MONTAGE DES HANDSCHUTZES Setzen Sie den Schutz (2) auf das Hauptteil des Geräts über dem Messer und befestigen Sie die

beiden Seiten mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben (siehe Abb. 1.) EIN-/AUS-SCHALTER Achten Sie immer auf eine stabile Arbeitsposition, wenn Sie das Gerät benutzen. Diese Heckenschere ist mit einem Sicherheitsschalter versehen, der erfordert, dass beide Hände auf den beiden Schaltern (Abb. 1) liegen, damit das Gerät funktioniert. Die beiden Schalter (Abb. 1) müssen gedrückt werden, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Um das Gerät auszuschalten, die beiden Schalter loslassen. Der Motor schaltet sich aus, sobald einer der beiden Schalter losgelassen wird. ARBEIT Dieses Gerät ermöglicht Ihnen, Hecken und Büsche zu beschneiden. Hecken schneiden:

• Bei jungen Ästen erhält man das beste Ergebnis durch eine Hin- und Herbewegung. Halten Sie das Messer leicht geneigt.

• Ältere Hecken erfordern eine Bewegung von einer Seite zur anderen. Halten Sie das Messer leicht geneigt.

• Zu dicke Äste müssen mit einer Säge abgesägt werden. • Die Seiten, die sich senkrecht zur Hecke befinden, müssen von unten nach oben

geschnitten werden. Um einen ebenen Schnitt zu erhalten

• Einen Fadenführer benutzen, über dem Sie schneiden. SICHERHEIT Dieses Gerät umfasst vier Sicherheitselemente:

• Einen Schalter, der über zwei Drücker betätigt wird. Das Gerät muss mit beiden Händen festgehalten werden, damit der Motor in Betrieb gesetzt werden kann. Der Motor schaltet sich aus und die Messerbremse wird ausgelöst, sobald Sie einen der beiden Drücker loslassen. • Eine Messerbremse. Sie bringt das Messer in weniger als 0,2 Sekunden zum Stillstand. • Ein Sicherheitsmesser und einen Messerschutz (Abb. 1+4). Das Sicherheitsmesser umfasst unbewegliche Zähne, die die Schneidezähne überragen, um die Verletzungsgefahr bei unbeabsichtigtem Kontakt zu verringern. Die Messerhülle schützt das Messer während der Lagerung. • Einen Aufstoßschutz (Abb. 4). Dieses System verhindert, dass das sich bewegende Messer auf feste Hindernisse (Mauern, Baumstämme, Boden etc.) trifft und das Gerät heftig zurückstößt.

REINIGUNG Vor allen Arbeiten am Gerät auf jeden Fall den Netzstecker abziehen. Reinigen und warten Sie die Heckenschere regelmäßig, damit sie ihre Schneidleistung über viele Jahre hinweg bewahrt. • Reinigen Sie nach allen Schneidarbeiten die Schneidvorrichtung und das Gehäuse und entfernen Sie sorgfältig alle Pflanzenreste. • Überprüfen Sie, ob die Lüftungsöffnungen des Motors sauber sind. • Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einer weichen Bürste oder einem Tuch. • Das Gerät darf nicht mit einem Wasserstrahl gereinigt werden und nicht in Wasser getaucht werden. • Verwenden Sie weder Reinigungsmittel noch Detergenzien oder Lösemittel. Sie könnten das Gerät unwiderruflich beschädigen. Durch Chemikalien können die Kunststoffteile beschädigt werden. WARTUNG/AUFBEWAHRUNG Vor allen Arbeiten am Gerät auf jeden Fall den Netzstecker abziehen. • Reinigen Sie die Messer sowie das Gerät nach jeder Benutzung sorgfältig. Gut gereinigte

Messer brauchen im Allgemeinen nicht geschliffen zu werden. • Verstauen Sie das Gerät an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort, um Schimmelbildung zu vermeiden.

Vermeiden Sie Kunststoffbeutel. • Tragen Sie ein paar Tropfen biologisch abbaubares Öl zwischen den Messern auf und

verwenden Sie den Messerschutz. • Verstauen Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern. • Lagern Sie die Heckenschere nicht über längere Zeit an einem Ort, an dem sie direkter
