instructions for importing into PowerPoint

versions 2007/2010 and will show you these

in a moment.

On the right you’ll see our blank

Instructions for Importing Slides from Files

PowerPoint 2007/2010On the Reuse Slides box, make sure the Keep

Source Formatting checkbox is checked (Circled

in the top right graphic). This will ensure that all

of the slide and its functional parts are imported

properly. Note: In developing these spinner

slides, we’ve placed parts of the slide content on

the Master Slides, which means, in some

instances, you cannot simply Copy/Paste the

spinner to another presentation.

Now click on the slides you want to import. They

will instantly appear in your presentation.

That’s it. Your slide is now in another

presentation with the complete functionality of the

original slide.

Instructions that apply to all of the slides

1. To make sure that you do not advance these slides by mistake, the “Advance

on Mouse Click” option has been turned off. Press the space bar or page

down key to advance to the next slide while on these slides.

2. Most all of the Spinners and More files have some editable elements to allow

you to enter names or change values while protecting the rest of the slide.

See the individual slide instructions below to learn which parts on each are

editable.

3. These slides are designed to work in PowerPoint slideshow mode

(presentation mode), and of course, edited in edit mode.

4. All of these spinners and random selectors provide a single button to both

start and stop the action on the slide. Pressing the button once will start the

spinner or other action and pressing it again will stop the action. You’ll find it

difficult to Start and Stop the spinners in the same location as the last spin.

Obviously, this is by design, however, varying the seconds between your Start

and Stop clicks will ensure a completely randomized spin result.

5. Just for fun. Sometimes it adds to the excitement to start the spinners moving

at the beginning of a round or turn, and allow the players to yell STOP!

All START/STOP Buttons: Press once to start and a second time to stop the spinner.
