Instructions for Completing St Lukes Onboarding and SumTotal These are the 3 approved browsers. Please use these browsers when completing any steps of the application process. After you have opened up a browser of your choice. You will need to type in the search bar at the top When you get to the St. Lukes homepage you will need to click Careers to take you to our application page. Follow the Student Opportunities link on the left to get to the application page. Please review the information under the Post It On the left are the applications. It is very important to complete the correct application when applying for a St. Lukes rotation. Please note the different applications. If a student has never been to St. Lukes for any clinical rotations. They will complete the New Student Application If the student has completed a rotation at any St. Lukes facility they need to complete a Returning Student Application. Students need to select the right code. This box is how we split our students. If a Nursing student selects the Medical Students option it will go to another Placement Coordinator. Please be sure to Select All Other Students. When the application is complete. Click Submit at the bottom. The message that is circled means you have successfully submitted the application. Do not resubmit if you see this message. It will create a Duplicate Account. When the application comes through I receive a notification via. Be aware. It takes up to 48 hours for a Placement Coordinator to get back to you. When your application has been processed you will receive annotifying you of changes. Thisincluded the Sumtotal instructions in the Notes section. Youll want to read the directions very carefully. There is a lot of useful information in this. It is very important to Copy and Paste this exactly in your browser. When you get to the SumTotal homepage it will have a Create your own account option at the bottom. If you created an account as a student. Do not click Create your own account Instead log into SumTotal using your previous information. Please ALWAYS use your schoolas your username. It will take up to 72 hours for us to activate your account. When you get to the bottom of the application there is section that asks for a Code. Please Select student:Medical_1. (if you are a St Lukes Employee select student:Current Employee) Whenever you have questions about what to do refer back to the instructions sent in the. When all the fields are completed. Click Submit Once you have clicked submit it will redirect you to this screen. From this point it will take up to 3 business days for us to approve the account. Anytime the Username is entered incorrectly we will automatically fix it. The Username will always be the student assigned Universityaddress. After the account has been approved you will need to login using the information used to set up the account. When you log into your account for the first time all your required education will be under the To-Do tab. When you have no records to display you need to check your training transcripts to make sure everything is complete. To get to the training transcripts, click learn. It will bring down this drop down box, from there click Learning Activity Reports then Training Transcripts. Modules will populate in your To-Do tab 30 days before they expire. Once youve completed your Sumtotal training you will receive a confirmationfrom your placement coordinator. The format will look similar to this but the text will differ depending on discipline.
