Research Into Independent Studios- Although these film companies are listed as independent , film studios often
collaborate with other production companies and distributors to ensure the success of their film or support their films financially. ( CO-Production )

Release Dates And Competition
The group decided to have the release date as Halloween, This is a key time for horror films to release in cinema.
Eliza would face competition from bigger budget films and studios as it is only on an independent label.

Eliza Logo VS Other Independent Company Logos/Credit Block
Conventionally film posters feature a credit block, certifications, copyright and production logo so I have included these elements in the Eliza poster. However the layout of these elements varies from poster to poster, after some research I found that the most common layout was similar to poster 3 with the layout featured at the bottom of the poster with the logos spread out along the bottom.
Summary
Through researching what is key in making an independent film I looked at similar products,
analysing style , conventions of independent films and competition within the independent horror film
market.
It has helped me to make any amendments to my film trailer and poster which fit to existing products similar
to my own.
