It is time for the SPARSH Arthroplasty Course - Advanced 2012. Firstly, I would like to

acknowledge the overwhelming success of the Basic Arthroplasty Course, due to the

enthusiastic participation of the faculty and delegates alike. I am also glad to inform you

that the travelling fellows selected during the Basic Course are progressing well and all of

them would have completed their stint abroad by the time we meet in September 2012.

The Advanced Arthroplasty Course will focus on complex primary and revision Hip and

Knee Arthroplasty surgeries and will include challenging live primary and revision

Arthroplasty surgeries and Skill Enhancement Workshops to equip the delegates with the

motor skills to undertake these complex surgeries.

The SPARSH Arthroplasty Course - Advanced is being conducted in collaboration with

Endo-Klinik in Hamburg, Germany and Wrightington Hospital in U.K. who are world

leaders in the field of Joint Arthroplasty. Delegates will once again have the opportunity to

apply for an all expenses paid travelling fellowship program which includes 4 months in

India and 2 months abroad.
