The registration fee is 300€. It includes a copy of the conference

proceedings, refreshments, the social event and a guided tour of the

experimental hall of the PTZ.

The conference is free to all speakers.

Registration for Sponsoring and Exhibition

The fee for booth is 1.500€ and includes Exhibition area, 2 free

registrations, logo on the conference website, in the main program

and on the presentation slide in the beginning of the speeches.

Since 2002, the Industriearbeitskreis Trockeneisstrahlen has

provided a forum to discuss and present current research,

blasting with solid carbon dioxide. The 15th meeting will be

held in English in order to allow an international audience

the exchange of ideas.

Attendance has continuously increased and has become

more and more international with participants coming from

all over Europe. The conference mainly addresses: end user

of the dry ice blasting technology, suppliers of dry ice and

gases, equipment designers, service providers, engineering

consultants, research establishments and everyone else

interested in dry ice blasting and related technologies.

We would like to invite you to this meeting not only for

networking opportunity.

The presentations are accompanied a small exhibition. The

in the Production Technology Centre in Berlin that further

provides an opportunity for discussion and networking.

The 15th conference will take place in the Adrema Hotel in

Berlin, near the Production Technology Centre, on November

17th and 18th 2011. The Conference on Dry Ice Blasting is

organised by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems

and Design Technology IPK.

INTRODUCTION

Topics

Papers are invited from authors coming from the industry or

from research institutions. Contributions can cover

case studies and practices,

market surveys,

ongoing theoretical and experimental research.

Submissions and Dates

August 19th, 2011: Submission of Abstracts

November 4th, 2011: Registration Deadline

(maximum of 130 people)

The paper proposals should be submitted as .doc or .pdf

documents containing the

title of the paper,

name of the presenting author,

name of the company or organisation,

address,

abstract of at most 200 words.

Presentation length is limited to 30 minutes including time

for discussion. Individual arrangements are possible.

The conference language is English.

Venue

The Adrema Hotel and the Production Technology Centre

(PTZ), Berlin are located in the centre of Berlin, near the

Spree, Berlin’s main river.

In addition to the presentations an accompanying small

exhibition will be held. The fee for booth is 1.500€ and
