2 IInnttrroodduuccttiioonn MICROCONTROLLERS with their inherent advantages are being increasingly used in the industry. With growing shortage and escalating cost of Electrical Energy, accurate monitoring of Air Conditioner's parameters has become necessary. 'TELEPAC MICROCONTROLLER is most useful for controlling A/Cs. This instrument is able to maintain Room Temperature with an accuracy of 0.1° C by automatic measurement of Room temperature and accordingly controlling AC ON/OFF.It also protects Costly Air conditioner from ‘Unhealthy conditions’ such as over load/under load etc. by automatically cutting off supply to it. SSaalliieenntt FFeeaattuurreess 1. Fully programmable. 2. Complete protection for AC from unhealthy condition. 3. All set points programmable from keypad.. 4. Password protection for controller. 5. Different Passwords for Normal set points, Offset Set points & Alarm Configuration set point. 6. on site selection of Single Phase/Three Phase. 7. 16 char. 2 lines LCD display with back lit on controller front panel. 8. Simple 4 Key keypad for on site programming. 9. Separate alarm contacts for AC 1 fail alarm AC 2 fail alarm, power fail 10. on site selection of Single AC/Dual AC operation. 11. Automatic display of AC parameters one by one in Run Mode. 12. Status & Healthy indication by LED on front panel. 13. Alarm indication by LED on front panel. 14. Room temperature sensing by precise sensor. 15. Separate outputs for each fan and compressor. 16. Direct display of Line voltage & actual current drawn by compressor. 17. Direct display of actual room temperature. 18. Sequencing of comp. for equal run hours, Site selectable. 19. Automatic Timer mode operation if Room sensor fails. 20. All Faults Autoreset. 21. Smoke fire & D.G. sensing. 22. Fault log History.(last 10 faults) 23. Compressor hour run 4 digit display. 24. Time remaining for change over display. 25. Total hour run from installation. 26. Single Phasing/Reverse Phasing Protection in case of Three Phase Controller. 27. Communication between 15 units ( 1 Master /14 Slaves) in each zone. 28. Communication between multiple zones possible. 29. Offset Feature for On site calibration. 30. Sensor fail mode On-time & Off-Time. 31. Seperate settable on delay for compressor.

TELEPAC MICROCONTROLLER is provided with independent power supplies for each AC. Controller can work with any one or both power supplies.Under normal working condition at Power On,first “ TELEPAC 1 Phase controller” message is displayed which remains about 10secs. After that Healthy indication starts blinking alongwith the supply indication provided for both supplies separately. Now, depending on the Room Temperature & Set points Fan 1 will be started after Fan Startup Delay (Default 5 sec) & Compressor will be On after Cp1 Startup Delay (Default 30 sec) & after Startup Delay of Fan2 & Cp2 startup delay they will be started if required ( depending on room temperature ) This is ‘Normal Run Mode’ for the controller. In this mode display will show status of ACs showing current drawn by Compressor, voltage & room temp. In this mode ACs will be turned ON/OFF depending on Room temperature requirement & Setpoints.e.g. If Compressor Temperature cutin is set to 23°C then the AC will be ON if Room Temperature goes above 23°C & the AC will be turned OFF when Room Temperature goes below 20°C i.e. 3°C Hysterisis is provided also 0.1°C accuracy is achieved with the controller. İf by some means Room Temperature remains below set point of one compressor & above set point of other. For example Compressor1 setpoint =20°C and Compressor2 set point =25°C & Room Temperature =22°C then Compressor2 may never be turned On & may cause problem to AC hence after specified time ( Shift Interval Set in Hrs.) the Temperature Set Points of the compressors gets interchanged automatically & now compressor2 will now be in service. If a fault occurs then ALARM indication on the front panel will be ON & the fault is displayed in the fault status also fault is stored in the Fault log history For Faults such as Compressor Overload/Underload AC will be turned off automatically & restart after Delay. User can examine the parameters of AC directly on controller display. At the end of set points user can view last 10 faults occurred to the A/C.These fault can be viewed using INC key. User can Hold & examine a parameter by pressing enter key in RUN mode. For any fault occurrence temperature Cutin set points are swapped between master and slaves. Cutin set points are swapped in cyclic manner.ie. Master Slave1 Slave 2……. Slave 14 Master. Once the cutin setpoint are swapped next change/ swapping occurs only after 5 minutes.
