Project Objective – Vocab Express
The objective of this project was to provide Vocab Express with competitive
and product research.
The company is aiming to expand its product base to include content on
humanities and the sciences
Our research was to be based on these new topics, work out the exam
curriculum of the major three exam boards, evaluate any competition, and
recommend specific aspects that could be improved.
Competitive Research
One of the clients tasks for us was to research a number of different
competitors that they had within the market and gather valuable
intelligence.
We included what the firm offered, the price they were selling the product
for, their advantage within the market and the way they marketed their
products.
Recommendations to Vocab Express
Increase the amount of subjects that will be offered by a larger amount.
Give multi-year discounts (eg. By more than one year gives the consumer
more of a discount)
Cover not only ks3 and GCSE but also A level.
Invest in extra resources more than just educational such as school mapping
and advice lines for students.
Have a variety of different revision materials not just like this website which
only focuses on quizzes.
Give special deals to schools and teachers with discounts and maybe even
free access as promotional deals.
The information layout is exceptional and answers all potential questions on
one page.
