Checkpoint Wear (CPW) is a shareholding textile-

wear manufacturer founded in 2018 in Cairo, Egypt

range of knit-wear ready garments, including - but

not limited to - active & sports wear with the know-

how & finance capacity to cover the growing needs

From the founders’ previous

experience in serving the local &

regional market and its brands

with excellent active & sportswear

garments. Within one year, CPW

was able to switch to international

exports.

Today, we have our own plant,

which provides different collections,

signature designs as well as, CM (cut &

make) as per our client requests.

We professionally handle all kinds of

knit fabrics like: Single jersey, French

terry, Pique, Feeder stripe (all kinds),

Fleece, Engineered stripe, Interlock

variegated rib, Rib 1x1, Velvet, Rib 2x2,

Flat lock, Yarn dyed knit fabrics & Crepe

polyester materials.

Fabric Composition: 100% Cotton,

Cotton–Lycra, Cotton–Polyester, Viscose

Garment Wash: Silicone, Enzyme,

Softeners

We follow international COC and human rights standards to guarantee

proper and fair working conditions. Our Plant is equipped with all

necessary resources including:

OUR COMPETITIVE EDGE

CPW’s competitive edge is built on a number of angles

ranging from the lower cost of labor due to recent

devaluation of EGP, the availability of fabrics on the local

market due to the long age of textile business in Egypt &

extending all the way to extremely short lead time to the US

East Coast (10-12 Days).

Last but not least, being registered under QIZ FT (free-trade)

agreement between Egypt and the US, CPW’s products

enter the US market tariff exempted, which is a huge edge

for our buyers compared to Chinese, Indian and other

exporters to the US market.

Same goes for our European clients where Egypt enjoys a FT

(free-trade) agreement with European community.

Being an Egyptian exporter, CPW enjoys special trade agreements with Africa under COMESA, Arabs countries

through Arab Bilateral trade agreement as well as Agadir and MERCOSUR for Latin American market. Coupled with

US market QIZ & European EUFTA, this covers big part of the world.

Based on the concept and the vision of going 100% exports, CPW has

been socially aware since its inception. Health & safety of our workers

has always been among our top priorities and we constantly invest in

the education and training of our key team members.

Among initial measures taken so far:

1. First aid and necessary medical assistance is provided 24/7

2. No employment of minors; we do not support child labor!

3. Government rules & regulations are strictly adhered to.

4. Fresh & purified drinking water is available.

5. Enough rooms & toilets are available on different plant floors

6. Our plant houses (3) separate staircases in case of emergency.

7. A well-maintained plant & safe working system.

8. Suitable arrangements for the safe-use, handling, storage and transport of

material and garments.

9. Adequate information, instruction, training & supervision.

10. Safe premises and workplaces, including accessible entrances &

exits, as well as passages.

11. Safe working environments & facilities.

12. Communication & advisory facilities.

13. Sufficient work surface lighting in production areas for safe,

efficient & quality operations.

14. Protective equipment/uniforms provided to all factory employees.

15. All machinery equipped with operational safety devices.

16. Factory complies with the applicable laws regarding pollution &

environmental behavior.

17. All wires are put underground to ensure workers safety.

18. Plant is equipped with a fire system and emergency fire escapes.

19. Fabric Test Lab: CPW is committed to applying and integrating in

its internal code of conduct all health, safety and environmental

regulations stipulated by the Egyptian Labor Law, as well as, those

required by quality and environmental certifications acquired.

20. In house training includes First Aid, Personal Protective

Equipment (PPE), Fire Drills, Risk Assessment, and Manipulation of

Hazardous Chemicals.
