Knowing Figueroa Mountain for so many years, I’ve always admired it as an invaluable paintingthat’s too superb to be confined in a Museum.Instead, the immeasurable curved forms rise freely above the ground, allowing me to absorbfragments of its beauty and transform them into one of my special creations.

Located in the sunny California on the south-­‐west of the United States of America, the charming FigueroaMountain is a magical landscape. Evoking the Californian mountain, the luxurious Figueroa dining chair hasthe same lines of the original armchair. The long curves of this mountain were taken to the exterior and themountainside ripples, that seem to have been dug by large fingers coming from the sky, were placed on theinside. The top of the chair features the great bow of the skyline and the yellow tone of the ground isreplaced by the feet in brass.

Young  photographer  Logan  Deats lives  in  California  where  he  captures  outstanding  viewsof  Santa  Barbara  County.  Thank  you  for  letting  Figueroa  Mountain  to  become  a  part  of  INSIDHERLAND.
