INSIDE OUT

Plot - The story centres on Riley, an adolescent girl, and the emotions that follow when she moves from her home in Minnesota to San Francisco. As the audience, we bounce between the normal human world and Riley's mind world, which is controlled by her five emotions: Anger, Disgust, Fear, Sadness, and Joy. These emotions are actual characters that talk and walk, sing and dance, play and fight.

Main director and producer - Pete Docter directed the movie alongside producer Jonas Rivera; the talented duo has created other classic Pixar animations like Up.

Where do the films idea originate from - The film is based on Pete Docter’s own experiences.

The personalities of the five emotions were inspired by Snow White's seven dwarfs.

Creation of the film - Forty-five animators worked on the film.

They finished three seconds of final animation each week.

No other Pixar film has featured characters that look so cartoon like.

Pre Production – The characters Were made of clay before they Were put into animation format,The story line was also written Before the film was made so that The producers could make the finalFilm product perfect.

Marketing of the film – There was a blogger press event which occurred each week, new trailers were recently released and billboards were put up globally which advertised the film. At the Magic of Disney Animation at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, they set up an exhibition with some great pre-production artwork from the film. The Disney store also started selling the films products such as soft toys and other merchandise few weeks after the release of the trailer. A film website was also created which allowed fans to be updated weekly with the characters and how the production of the film was going.
