For over 60 years, Manoir Industries has always based its growth on quality service and on highly innovative strategies. Thanks to its skilled and experienced team as well as its investments, Manoir Industries plants supply its customers with technical forged components from conception to delivery of rough or machined parts.

Closed-die, open-die forging, extrusion, ring rolling and machining are the main activities of Bouzonville and Custines forging plants for the Oil & Gas market. These large production processes enable Manoir to offer its customers small and mid - sized batches of critical and morphologically complex components of 15 to 1100 kg. Manoir products are available in a large steel range such as carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex and super alloys including Inconel type and light steel, aluminum and titanium.

Additionally, synergies exist with other Manoir Industries subsidiaries and in particular with Hi-Tech Fabrication whose skills in production and product assembly in heat-and corrosion-resistant steel grades are wellknown. Hi-Tech Fabrication is qualified PQR for various steels.

Manoir Bouzonville and Manoir Custines engineering services intervene from the first step, the development phase in partnership with their customers to define the best solutions meeting the highly specific requirements of the Oil & Gas market.

Manoir Industries forging plants have an open-die shop to produce parts up to 8 tons.An extrusion unit has been set up to better meet customer requirements for tubes (pierced or not), hollow shafts and axle shafts with diameter and thickness variations. This production line consists of a 2,500 t hydraulic press for dimensional capacities of up to 450 mm max for outside diameters and up to 1,700 mm in length.

After refurbishing its press, investing in a reheating furnace, and having set up a turning center of middle capacity, Manoir Custines is also equipped with a re-rolling mill providing rings with an outside diameter of 2.5 m max.

Since 2006, Manoir Industries has been offering a range of generic house-dies for GV body forging from 1’’ to 7’’ from 3 to 15Kg, available in the most common grades.

Manoir Industries forging plants supply machined components. Manoir Bouzonville is equipped amongst other equipments with a CNC horizontal machining centers and multi-tasking machines. The conception phase with Computer-aided Manufacturing (CAD-CAM) enable Manoir to model parts, to study the manufacturing process and to realize simulations (NCSIMUL) which visualize the machining cycles and improve complex and innovative machining developments.

Manoir Industries laboratories are equipped with all the necessary control equipment required by the Oil & Gas market to characterize metallurgical and physical properties of forged components: tensile strength, impact, creep, spectrometry, micro and macrography, corrosion tests...

All along the manufacturing process, parts are controlled to ensure perfect conformity to customer specifications.

Manoir Industries forging plants are certified ISO 9001 version 2008 and 2009, Lloyd Germanischer, Lloyds’Register, TÜV and ABS…
