WHAT?

• Those tiny, young companies, more and more often surprise the world

with new, innovative and disrupting solutions, capable of transforming

the way the business has been done. DES created the Innovation Hub

looking for these new companies that could impact in these digital

demand sectors, such as, Industry 4.0, Urban Mobility, Banking &

Insurance, Health & Pharma, Media & Entertainment, Cities & Public

Sector, Tourism & Hospitality, and Retail & e-commerce.

We are looking for the best newest companies that can

change the World, it could be yours?

WHAT?

• The Innovation Hub is a unique opportunity for you to:

Showcase your solution, your products and services in front of an

international audience, in Pitch Elevator format.

Connect with Global Innovation System of the Digital Entreprise

Show (Gamification Networking).

Meet partners to develop your project.

Selected solutions will be direct candidates to the European Digital

Mindset Awards, “the Best Digital Disruptor Start-up” category.

WHO?

• If you are an entrepreneur, a start-up or a Technology

Centre and YOU ARE THE BEST ONE, applied! We are

waiting for you!

• Only the 3 top projects in any vertical will be at the

Innovation Hub!

HOW?

• Participating projects have to be registered to the official platform.

• Organizers will check if your register is correct and your project has

been accepted.

• An Expert Committee will evaluate submitted projects and will select

those that meet the vertical forum in the congress and evaluated

criteria.

• Only selected projects will participate at the Innovation Hub during the

showtime, under the umbrella of the Digital Business World Congress

from May 22nd to 24th.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

• The Expert Committee will evaluate the solutions presented with

the following criteria:

▪ The capacity to transform demand sectors with Digital transformation.

▪ Capable leadership and management teams.

▪ Serious and disruptive technologies.

▪ Potential for sustainable growth.

▪ Potential impact on the Digital Transformation.

▪ Potential impact in the economy and society in general.

▪ The organization must have a high innovation component, understanding

innovation in the broad sense (product, process, business plan, etc.)

SCHEDULE

▪ The deadline for the project registration is until April 17th

(23:59 CET)

▪ Project will be evaluated from April 18th to April 24th.

▪ Selected projects will be notify on April 30th.

▪ Showtime: Innovation Hub, May 23rd

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• If the proposal is selected to participate in the DES Innovation

Hub, I authorize the Organization to publish the data that are

considered public: name of the company, short description of the

project, professional contact.

• By submitting the information entered on the DES Innovation Hub,

candidates DECLARE they are not and will not be violating any

contract or third party rights including any patents, copyrights,

trade secrets, proprietary or confidential information, trademarks,

or rights to privacy.

DATA PROTECTION

• All the data entered on the DES Innovation Hub that are not

public nature (such as company name, description and

professional contact) will only keep in the DES Innovation

Hub organization. However, the data entered should not be

incompatible with it is indicated in the section "Intellectual

Property Rights" of the present rules.
