Inspection After 20,000 Hours of Operation and More
Several advantages are responsible for the long service
life of this labeling station.
Unequalled smooth operation
Unlike other systems where the gluing segments swing
erratically back and forth, the segments of the Innoket
KL 2000 always rotate in the same direction.
Advantages: No vibrations in the labeling station,
no overloads, no premature component wear.
Direct drive without gearbox stages
The drive of the Innoket KL 2000 is mounted directly
underneath the segment shafts. The segment shafts are
rotated by an external double-cam race and hardened
steel rollers running in an enclosed oil bath.
The advantage: No additional gearbox stages,
no gear wheel step-up, no play!
Coupling without play
The Innoket KL 2000 has five segment shafts to which the
gluing segments are permanently attached.
A coupling device newly developed by KHS makes it possi-
ble for the first time to make wear-resistant connection
between the segment shafts and the labeling station.
Absolutely without play.
Unlike conventional square couplings, the KHS coupling is
conically shaped.
The advantage: The segment shafts can be removed
and installed simply by lifting them out or putting
them back in place - quickly and without play.
Neither dirt nor broken glass can fall into the conical
holes.
The segment shafts can be positioned as required.
No more effort invested in numbering and allocating
segment shafts.
High peel-off angle
The size of the peel-off angle is decisive for fast,
intact, and exact label transfer from the gluing segment
to the gripper cylinder.
The Innoket KL 2000 has a peeling angle of 45°!
The advantage: Gentlest possible but fast label
transfer of even extremely sensitive labeling
materials.
Quadruple sealing
The station housings of the Innoket KL 2000 are
equipped with multiple labyrinth covers.
The advantage: The station interior is reliably
protected against water.
No corrosion
Unlike other labeling systems, the Innoket KL 2000
features an external, electrically powered oil circulation
lubrication system. The amount and distribution of
lubricant is exactly defined. All lubrication points are
automatically monitored.
The advantage: This system ensures permanent
lubrication - regardless if the station is rotating or
at a standstill. This effectively prevents corrosion
and lengthens the life of the machine.
Rely on this concept that offers you these and many more
advantages.

Innoket KL 2000 –
Considerably Improved Labeling Quality
The sequences of motion of the labeling station are
controlled by an external double-cam race.
The perfectly synchronous sequences of motion –
uniform glue distribution, gentle label removal
from the label box and transfer to gripper cylinders –
are the result of the defined cam race.
All parts of the machine are easily accessible.
This saves time and increases labeler availability.

Before transferring the labels to the gripper cylinder,
the gluing segment presents the labels completely exposed
towards the outside.
This gives you the opportunity to apply a date
anywhere on the label by means of a mask, dot
matrix, or vector laser.
Innoket KL 2000 –
Automatic Cleanliness Through Integrated Cleaning Systems
10
The bottle turrets are automatically flushed off with hot
water by an integrated cleaning system after selecting
the appropriate cleaning program.
No operator intervention required during cleaning.
The cleaning system cleans the brush channels
automatically.
Saves you the effort of removing the brushes.
The labeling station is also equipped with an integrated
hot water cleaning facility.

differential gear equipped with a handwheel
and meter.
You can infinitely adjust the position of the
labels while the labeler is in operation.
No machine standstill.
Optimum machine efficiency.
Perfect labeling quality.
Each setting is stored in a meter and is thus
repeatable for each bottle dressing.
0
The labeling station is swung out for various bottle
diameters by means of a handwheel extending out of the
machine.
An easily readable scale is used to reproduce each
setting and thus provide repeatable settings for
each bottle diameter.
This saves you time and money, particularly for
multiple product lines, and ensures high labeling
quality.
You can automate this process by replacing the
handwheel with an electric drive.
All settings are displayed in a visualization (control menu)
for format changeover.
