Americans are spoiled. We drive to work alone in an SUV or Pickup, happy with 20 mpg because we still have the cheapest gas in the world. One day, gas will go back to the $4.00+ per gallon level and everybody will begin screaming again. But will we have affordable vehicles ready to meet the demand? Not unless projects like the BIKAR or the Elio are realized soon. See the next slide to find out about Elio, a vehicle much like BIKAR, but supported by investors who see the potential for such disruptive technology.

Why would I show you this information? Because Elio is the personification of my dream for BIKAR. The difference is that Paul Elio, a Detroit Executive, has the contacts and resources to pull it off. I have resolved the BIKAR to be a personal project and relegated the platform of educating the public and actually providing a product to Elio.
