Limited WarrantyCondux International, Inc. extends the following warranty to the original pur-chaser of these goods for use, subject to the qualifications indicated:

Condux International, Incorporated warrants to the original purchaser for usethat the goods or any component thereof manufactured by ConduxInternational will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of one yearfrom the date of purchase, provided such goods are installed, maintained, andused in accordance with Condux’s written instructions.

Components not manufactured by Condux International but used within theassembly provided by Condux International are subject to the warranty periodas specified by the individual manufacturer of said component, provided suchgoods are installed, maintained, and used in accordance with Condux’s andthe original manufacturer’s written instructions.

Condux’s sole liability and the purchaser’s sole remedy for a failure of goodsunder this limited warranty, and for any and all claims arising out of the pur-chase and use of the goods, shall be limited to the repair or replacement ofthe goods that do not conform to this warranty.

To obtain repair or replacement service under the limited warranty, the pur-chaser must contact the factory for a Return Material Authorization (RMA).Once obtained, send the RMA along with the defective part or goods, trans-portation prepaid, to:

1. Based upon the duct’s inner diameter, determine the correct seal-off head size (Table 1).

2. Screw the seal-off head onto the seal-off body and tighten until snug (Figure 1).

Set-Up Procedure

!WARNING: Read and understand all procedureand safety instructions before using any ConduxInnerduct Seal-Off. Failure to do so may result inpersonal injury or property damage. Save thisuser’s guide for future reference.

!WARNING: Do not exceed 15 psi of air pressure.Do not stand directly behind the Seal-Off. Seriouspersonal injury could result.

!CAUTION: Wear personal protective equipment:hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes, and leatherwork gloves.

!WARNING: Keep the compressed air hose couplings clean of debris. Compressed air blowssurrounding debris during the installation andremoval of the air line. Serious personal injurycould result.

!CAUTION: Beware of sharp threads on the seal-offhead - wear leather work gloves when handling orpersonal injury could result.

NOTE: The seal-off body comes standard with a rope adapter for 1⁄4” diameter rope.Additional adapters are available for 3⁄16”-1⁄2” diameter ropes. Consult your Condux cata-log, or see your Condux representative for more information.

1. Insert the rope or line through the rope adapter and seal-off head. Tie the rope orline to the projectile or missile.

2. Place the projectile or missile into the duct. Insert the seal-off head into the duct.

3. Twist the seal-off head and body clockwise until the head seats tightly inside theduct. Position the hose coupling for easy access.

4. Close the air flow valve by turning it until it is perpendicular to the coupling.

5. Attach the compressed air line to the seal-off’s air hose coupling. Ensure the airpressure is not over 15 psi.

6. Slowly open the seal-off’s air flow valve until the rope or line begins to feed throughthe duct. This valve also regulates the projectile or missile’s speed.

1. Close the air flow valve on the seal-off, and disconnect the compressed air line.

2. Loosen the seal-off by twisting it counterclockwise, and pull it out of the duct.
